More specifically, is there a significant difference between the editions of Bill Tillery's 8th edition Physical Science and Michael Passer's 4th edition Psychology? I'm more concerned about the psychology textbook as I don't expect that the science book will be used in class often.

Some time ago, I somehow managed to get smitfraud on my computer. I took it in and got it fixed; the rep told me that my computer needed to be wiped, which he did after backing up my files. He then set up a partition on my computer. The virus is gone and everything is technically okay, but today while running my weekly virus scans, I saw file extensions from programs on the other partition. Since I'm not using them, they're essentially wasted space, but I can't remove them from this side of the partition. Will it be okay for me to log into the other side and remove the programs? As far as I know, there aren't any latent viruses or anything; I run Ad-aware, Search and Destroy, and Avast once a week, and they haven't found anything to be concerned about.

I fail to understand how people obsessed with looking skinny haven't utilized a garment that successfully aided in that purpose for many years. I love corsets and I wish that they were easier to find. I'm a college student so I can't afford to pay several hundred dollars to have one custom made, and there really aren't any available anywhere else that aren't just lingerie. I have no problems with lingerie, but the "easily accessible" nature makes that sort of corset fairly useless. Any thoughts on why they seem to have died out?

Suggestions on where to find good corsets that won't kill my bank account would also be much appreciated.

I've been working on a file for several hours, and the last few times I've tried to save it I was shown an error box saying, "Cannot save file because it was left open or is being modified." Or something to that effect... Anyway, all I'm trying to do is overwrite the file; I've been using Photoshop (7.0) for years and never had this problem before. As it is, I've had to save the file under a different name each time and they're piling up quickly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

It's one of my all-time favorite shows, and I still can't believe CBS canceled it. I'd heard before that they were trying to get some other networks to consider picking it up, but there's been nothing since then... Anyone hear something I missed?

I'm familiar with veoh and it's my program of choice. The problem is, the BBC keeps deleting the episodes. So I want to know if anyone can give me veoh links for the episodes I'm missing.

1-10 of the first season

8-9 of the second

and 1-6 of the third.

How do you solve for x and y on an isoceles triangle where the base is 3x and each of the legs is y? The perimeter is 14 units.

Do you believe that it is? How would you go about proving that it is or isn't? Is faith a mere choice or is it something that you have to find over years? How do you have faith in something when there is nothing to prove or disprove it?

I've read many things on the subject of faith, but you can't ask a book to clarify itself, so I want to get a better view from some real people with real faith in whatever they have chosen to believe. Thanks.

I have a family history of knee problems so I want to know if running on a hard surface is putting me at risk of developing them. I've noticed that running on an elliptical usually doesn't cause any pain in my legs, while if I run on concrete my joints usually have a slight pain afterwards. I'd prefer an answerer with at least some medical knowledge, thanks.

Does anyone own the AE campus anorak? I need to know if it's really warm or not. It looks amazing, but I don't want to drop 90 dollars on something that's going to let me freeze.
