  • How unclog lead drain pipe?

We bought an older house that has a lead drain pipe from the bathroom sink. It became clogged and a plumber said that we should not pour Drano down it or use a machine because the lead is fragile and could bust. He would pretty much have to tear up the floor and put a new pipe in. Any other ideas or input on this? Thanks!

  • Just got hired, but 2 dui's on record?

They hired me but now they have to do a background check. I wasn't sure whether I should have put them on my application at first because they were driving related. I just edited the application and have added them on there just in case. One was four years ago in a car. The other was 2.5 years ago on a boat. I thought I learned my lesson the first time...Never thought I would get in trouble on a 25hp boat. Anyways, I am being honest. This is for a business analyst position. I hope I still have the job. Thoughts??

  • Desktop Computer keeps turning on and off?? Please help..?

My HP desktop will start up and go to windows for a couple of minutes, then it will automatically just restart. I doesnt seem like anything is wrong, then it just restarts out of nowhere. At first I thought it was power supply, but it won't do it if I'm in safe mode, so it is probably something else. What could be the problem and how can I fix it?? Please advise me.

  • Question about my home network and IP Addresses?

The other day I was checking my IP addresses for my desktop and my two wireless laptops. The laptops had class c addresses like 192.168.1.102.. and my desktop had changed from before to some Class A address like 72.91.1.105. Now I checked today and it was back to normal. Can you explain to me how and why my desktop would have this type of address and how it happened?

  • Help with wireless connectivity with my laptop?? Advanced people please answer?

I have two laptops hooked up through my wireless router. I know a bit about networks but still do not understand this: There will be times where one or both of my laptops can connect to my network. However, there will be times where it will go a few days and not be able to connect...sometimes one sometimes both. I am not changing anything with either one. The thing is, my desktop that is hooked up always works. Can anyone explain to me why my laptops go periods of time not connecting and then suddenly connect?? What can I do to prevent this from happening

  • Help with home network (one computer wont' connect)?

My main desktop hooked up to the network is connecting to the internet but by laptop won't connect to the internet. We are running a linksys wireless router. Here is what I dont understand. My desktop has an ip of 76.188.42.62 , which I dont know why it has a class A address. My default gateway has something like 76.188. 52.1. When I check my laptop, my ip address says 192.168.1.101 (preferred). Yesterday my laptop would connect but my desktop wouldn't!! Now its the opposite. It looks like we don't have the same network addresses. Why do they have different class addresses and how can I get my laptop to connect??

  • Good Certifications in Information Technology?

So I have a 4 year degree in IT but no job experience. I figured I would get my A+ and Network+ first to gain more knowledge and show a little more credentials. What would be a good field of certification to get into next since I don't have any job experience?? I was thinking Cisco or trying to get some Security certifications.... Any suggestions on which path to go?

  • Master's Degree????????

I have completed my B.S in IT/Managment Information Systems about two years ago. I applied for positions for about a year and never found a job in that field. Instead, I got a job in sales where I still work. Now I feel like i'm not interested in the field I graduated in.. Would getting a masters (like an MBA) expand my career choices?? Or go back to school and get another bachelor's with something i'm more interested in?? Any suggestions??
