after i open settings, the screen opens up but no icons load up, the screen remains blank then goes back to previous page, some apps do not load while others are unaffected

cannot connect to wifi because of this

this problem has happened in the past, took 4-5 days before it 'fixed' itself

yes it is jailbroken and don't just say it's because i jailbroke it

any quick fix appreciated

i prefer NOT to use itunes as i usually end up losing loads of stuff which i cannot retrieve

kenwood water filter has 30 day countdown led display, i can remove the display unit but there seems to be no access to the battery compartment, i am not forking out 8 quid just for a new display, rip off!

did not have hot water/heating, pressed little red reset button, worked ok

2 days later red light flashing, cannot reset, tried switching off and on, no hw/ch

manual says to open unit up and remove something at position 6? then to do 3 resistance checks to find fault

please help
