  • How do I switch phone carriers early?

I am SO unhappy with Sprint that I want to just cancel the service, pay the early termination fee and switch to Verizon. The fee is very high though and I would have to make payments to them. Will Verizon allow me to switch to them even though I'm still paying off my early termination fees to Sprint? Or do the fees have to be paid off before Verizon will give me service? Thanks!

  • Super heavy period, what to do?

I have a pretty normal period but lately, I missed 2 months and had a heavy period. Now, two weeks after the end of my last period I'm having another one and it is heavier than it has ever been.

For the last three days, I have been having to change a Super tampon every hour. I've gone through almost a whole box in three days. I've even had to get up in the middle of the night two or three times to change it. I'm having super bad cramps as well. Should I go to the ER or doctor or do you think it will stop on its own?

PS, I'm not pregnant. I got a blood test for pregnancy when I missed two months and I wasn't pregnant. I haven't had sex since then.

  • Why buy supplies for a hurricane?

I live on the Gulf Coast, so it's always a threat during hurricane season. But I don't understand stockpiling supplies. We always evacuate and stay with family when there is a hurricane. So, what is the point of having all these batteries and water if we won't be at home anyway? I'm not criticizing anyone's decision to, just want to understand the reasoning behind it. If it's good enough, then I will start buying supplies. Thanks!

  • How to adjust temp in refrigerator and freezer?

I'm a renter and have a Hotpoint. I have only one temperature control in the fridge and it goes from 1-9...9 being coldest. If I put it any colder than 3 the freezer gets warmer and stuff like ice cream melts a little. But I need the refrigerator part to be colder because the fridge thermometer I used says the temp in the fridge is 44 degrees! So, how can I make the fridge cooler without making the freezer warmer? I wish the fridge had a control for the freezer too.

  • Help with Texans merchandise for my husband?

Our anniversary is coming up and I want to buy my husband a Texans jersey since we're from Houston and that's his favorite team.

I prefer to go to a store instead of online if possible since I don't really have enough time for shipping. Is there anywhere in the Houston area that I can buy him a jersey? I really don't know much about sports, so I just don't know this stuff, lol. I've noticed that most jerseys have the name of a player on it. Who is the best Texans player that he might like? Thanks so much!

  • How soon can I start walking after back injury?

6 days ago I threw my back out and had to go to the doctor the next day because I was having excruciating back spasms. I feel much better but still very sore. Is it okay for me to start walking 20 min a day, or should I wait till the pain is totally gone? I should mention that it also hurts to bend over.

  • Should parrots be kept outside?

I have a neighbor with a macaw parrot. They keep it in a cage outside on their patio which is covered. However, we have been having temps in the 100's lately. Is it safe for the parrot to be outside in this heat? Should I report it?

  • How to write a letter of intent to vacate if we don't end up moving?

We are looking for a new apartment, but aren't sure if we will find one by the time our lease is up. The office receptionist said we still have to give a 60 day notice even if we end up moving. What do we say in the letter of intent to vacate to let them know that we may be moving but only if we find a place?

  • Is my testosterone level normal?

I recently had a metabolic panel blood test done and would like to know if my total and free testosterone levels are normal. I had it done at Quest, and it all shows in range, but the information I looked up online gives different ranges for normal.

My total testosterone is 20 ng/dl. Quest gives an in range reference of 2-45 ng/dl.

My free testosterone is 3.0 pg/ml. Quest gives an in range reference of 0.1-6.4 pg/ml.

    So, am I normal...high...or low?

  • What are some brands for a good quality, long lasting bra?

I'm plus sized and I need a good quality underwire bra that won't wear out quickly. I find that the underwire eventually pokes through the fabric and comes out rendering it useless. Can you recommend any good brands? Thanks!

  • Is a 16 month old too young for Chuck E Cheese?

I was thinking of taking my 16 month old nephew to Chuck E Cheese. He just started walking and crawls more often than he walks. Is he too young to go to Chuck E Cheese? Is there anything I should be aware of? I've never taken a child there.

  • Whole body aches, but no other flu symptoms?

I'm wondering if I could possibly have the flu. I feel like I was 'hit by a truck'. However, I don't have ANY other flu symptoms. Could this be the flu or some other condition? I didn't do any strenuous to make my body hurt...didn't fall either. Thanks!

  • Why is my face swollen when I wake up?

For the last month, every few days I wake up and my entire face is swollen and puffy. My eyelids are almost swollen shut and my upper lip is huge! My face is not red and it doesn't itch or hurt. It lasts for about an hour and goes away. I don't feel sick. I've used the same detergent for years now and I wash my pillowcase every week. I've been eating the same things as usual. What could this be?
