I m wanting to make a set of side frames for a john deere farm tractor to attach a front end loader. When I bought the tractor it was missing/maybe never had/the left and right side frames that are about 27" long by 6" wide by 1/2" thick with square holes along the middle to attach implements. To purchase these even at aftermarket prices is near 1000 dollars which is ridiculous. What I need to know is what grade of steel would suit this best? Would 1018 work? I have a set from another tractor I plan to use as a pattern to drill the holes. I figure they need to be strong but not so brittle they break. Thanks.

My brother and I were driving to work one morning minding our own business when from around a curve a driver on our side of the road hit us head on sending us both to the hospital. I suffered a brain injury, nerve damage and mental stress damage. I was diagnosed with ptsd and depression because of the injuries and being terrified of the highway. With all this debate over gun control, will my diagnosis strip me of my right to own a hunting rifle or a handgun for defense? Even though I am a NON VIOLENT, NON SUICIDAL, law abiding citizen and always have been. Not one illegal blemish on my record. I love the outdoors and love to hunt and fish. Its the only recreational opportunity I have. I did not ask to be run over by some jerk. I did not ask for ptsd or depression but it happened. I would never dream of harming myself or others. Will the government look into wether or not someone with ptsd is considered dangerous or harmful and allow those who are not to own a gun or will they punish everyone with ptsd and make them all criminals if they own a gun. Thats not fair and just.

In september my brother and I were going to work when an oncoming driver layed over in our lane to pass another vehicle in a curve with double solid lines and hit us head on putting both of us in the hospital and doing countless ammounts of damage. We got a call from the trooper who worked the wreck and he said the guys court date is april 2. That the guy that hit us is claiming my brother and I were the ones who hit him. The trooper knows hes lying and the police report shows who was at fault and said me and my brother need to be there to testify to the judge exactly what happened. Niether one of us have ever been to court and have no idea what to expect. Can this guy really get away with what he did. Our lives are ruined because of this jerk and he is going to lie and claim he is the victim when evidence clearly shows he was on our side of the road.

Ok I have recorded a marathon of a tv show with my magnavox dvd in line recorder. Because it was a marathon there wasnt any time at the end of each show to change out dvds so i stopped it on the commercial a few minutes before the show ended so i would have enough time. what im left with is different parts of a show on different dvds. I want to rip them to my computer and edit commercials plus split and join to organize each show onto one disc. Not adding any special effects or taking away anything but commercials. nothing fancy just basic editing. I tried ripping the dvds in mpeg2 and used windows live movie maker but the end result was far from the quality i started out with. motion was distorted with lines. this happened after i used wlmm. the mpeg file looked good after ripping just not so good after wlmm. anything i can do to correct this? another editing program mabey? any good free simple ones out there? thanks

I Have a magnavox in line dvd recorder and have recorded tv on them and I would like to edit out the commercials and move around some sections of video to fit it on one disc instead of two. Are there any good free editing software? I ripped them to my computer and used windows live movie maker. it performs the functions i want to do but what i am left with is poor quality video with blotchy lines with like the motions of sombodys head or really any movement is distorted. How can I correct this? I rip the shows in mpeg format just like it is on the disc and before editing it looks great like on tv. It is when I run it through windows live movie maker that distorts it. I have heard from several sources on the internet that Directv will activate a purchased reciever, wether it be purchased full price new or bought used, as a leased reciever and I would still have to pay lease fees and renew my contract for two years. In the event that I should opt out of service, I would have to turn "MY" reciever in to Directv. Is this true? I feel like if I am paying for their service and want to use a reciever that I spend my own money for to OWN it, it should belong to me not them. If it is so then that is robbery and not good business. If it is true then I am out of contract and will tell the to kiss my a**. They can treat others unfairly but I will be sendi.g them no more of my money.

Im looking for a dvr with a hardrive that can record and store tv shows and movies. Dvr only with no dvd recorder. I have seen a few dvrs with a hardrive and dvd burner. I currently use a dvd recorder the way a vcr used to be used to record tv but you cant utilize the directv guide to record certain shows while watching another. It has to be on the channel you want recorded and without a

hardrive its a pain to have to change out dvds when they are full. What I need is just a hardrive to store my shows then I could burn them later with the recorder I have. I am currently contract free with directv and I would have to renew contract and pay lease and installation fees the whole nine yards. thats where directv gets you with their fees. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am looking for a way to record live tv similar to the way directv dvr tuner boxes work. I am currently out of contract and do not want to renew contract and pay the lease and all the nickel and dime fees to just get a dvr. I know electronic companies sell hardrive dvr and dvd recorders like the: Magnavox MDR-513H/F7 320 gb dvr and dvd recorder. at walmart for 279.00. will this dvr work with directv? or is there a way to make this or any other work with directv? I understand how the direct reciever decodes the satellite signal gor viewing and I currently recod using a magnavox dvd/ vhs recorder that doesnt have a hardrive. pain in the butt works similar to how in the old days with a tape recorder. tv has to be on the recorded channel while its recordong. I want to be able to utilize the tv guide to set and record shows while i can watch another channel. I know there has to be a way. Please any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have seen numerous abandoned armored vehicles in a few episodes in and around Atlanta, including tanks. why is it nobody thinks of how useful a tank could be. I have never operated a tank but Im sure I could learn pretty fast given the circumstances one would have plenty of time to learn. I have operated many machines including tracked loaders and dozers. Learned through trial and error. as far as fuel goes theres no shortage of abandoned vehicles on the highway, gas and diesel, and they manage to keep their cars fueled up. I would love to see rick and his soldiers roll down the streets of woodbury in a tank. Or even an apc. All military equipment has simple instructions so if one man dies another can utilize his weapon even if not trained in the field. i guess i analize too much but it seems like an obvious possibility. "hey theres a tank lets try to crank it up and take it to the prison." "or at least give it a go" what would they have to lose. If nothing else it would really intimidate the enemy.

I took a job in June, was hit by a intoxicated driver head on and sustained head injury in september. Had been there four months so didn't have many acrued benefits. Also I havnt been there a year so fmla doesnt help. I am having to pay full price for group insurance which is more that I can afford not working. My injuries are going to take a long time to heal and due to that I have decided to quit my job. My wife works at a vets office that offers group insurance. We spoke with the rep and she told us if I decide to quit or if I decide to drop my insurance through work that would qualify us to be taken on by my wifes jobs insurance. She said that since we are coming from a group plan to a group plan that my head injuries will be covered and would be no pre existing waiting period. Is this correct?

I just bought a new Bostitch F28WW nail gun. Directions say to use a 28 degree wire weld only. Saw those nails in the bostitch name brand but I was wondering if grip-rite makes a nail designed for this gun?

I bought a 70's model Cox boat trailer from a lady in Tennessee and I live in Virginia. She wrote me out a bill of sale for the trailer and told me that she didn't have a registration for the trailer because Tennessee doesn't require owners to register or tag boat trailers. Her husband owned the trailer and he died and she really didn't know what all I would have to do to have it titled in va but told me to find out and she would do whatever she needed to do to help me when i found out what I needed. I can see where the trailer had a sticker "I suppose the sticker with the vin# and information" that must have fell off because it is a pretty old trailer. What do I need to do in Va to get an untitled TN boat trailer without a previous registration and a readable Vin# titled in my name. Repeat: I do have a bill of sale. Thanx

Today while working in a hay field I looked and saw what I thought was a stone sticking up out of the ground so I went to pick it up and get it out of the hay field and discovered it was a headstone. I looked around and started finding several headstones and foot markers buried under the dirt. Most are from the early to mid 1800's. As long as I can remember nobody ever knew it was there. I sure didn't. I think it is sad that such a large cemetery has been lost in time and now that I know its there I sure don't want to drive tractors and machinery over the graves. Is there someone I can report it to? Like a society that looks for lost graveyards? I think all the tombstones should be dug up out of the ground and stood upright again and a fence built around it. I know these people have to have decendants who have no clue where there great grandparents and aunts and uncles are buried. They should be told somehow and I dont know how to find them.

I have several sneaky rat neighbors who have no respect for anyones property. I built a pond and spent alot of money and hard work making my family and me a nice place to fish. But I know as soon as I stock it some dead beat neighbors will be sneaking in and catching my fish while I am working or in bed asleep. I have to build a fence to keep cattle out of my pond. most likely and electric fence. would building it well enough keep humans out too?

I would like to grow tomatoes and other veggies during the winter but its too cold outside where I live in the winter time. I have the means of building a greenhouse but are there any tricks to gardening in a greenhouse or can it be done as it is in the summer outside?
