i have a 1994 z28 camaro and it had a bad altenator so i replaced the altenator and now the transmission will not switch out of third gear (only sometimes) it happened a few times where everything started to function but the next day it would happen all over again.... what do you guys recommend?

my car has a coolant leak in the heater hoses and i am planning to fix it sometime in the summer... i knew it leaked for some time now but I just made sure it had coolant... well i was driving and realized that I havent checked the coolant for some time now and i stopped and waited for my engine to cool down and checked the coolant reservoir and saw that there was no coolant in there whatsoever.... The car stays at normal temperature while its running, doesnt matter how long the car runs and drives... whats going on? its a 2003 ford taurus DOHC

Abs does not work but i did find out that i have a bad wheel speed sensor on my rear passenger wheel... Would that cause the whole abs system not to work or just on that wheel?

i have 3 cylinders misfiring and i want to know if a bad o2 sensor can cause this.. i have a 2003 ford taurus dohc and it misfires sometimes not all the time

In my rear drivers side tire there is a clunking noise and play up and down... Im pretty sure its a ball joint but after looking on the forums people said that there isnt rear ball joints on that car.. Is there? Can anyone send me a guide for replacing them?

I have this code on my car its a fuel rail pressure sensor circuit range/performance... I have replaced the fuel pressure sensor and this code still comes up... What else could i do to fix this problem... also my remote starter stopped working it just beeps now nothing else... how can i reprogram it

My car wont start and i know the fuel pump is bad but when i started it on starting fluid it started smoking really bad out of the muffler.... Im worried that the head gasket mightve gone bad as well... Also, i plugged the computer in and it said i have a misfire 1st 1000 revs... Could that be causing the smoke?

I was driving today and noticed my oil lamp turned on so I pulled over and checked my oil and it was full so I turned my car on and noticed the light turned off... Then it turned on.. So I realized it has something to do with the car heating up... What can be the cause of this? and I have the 24valave dohc motor

i have a problem with my grand prix, and whenever im stopped at a light and i accelerate a little bit two fast my transmission slips and it takes a second for it to catch... how can i fix this problem without replacing it completely

so i sold my 1996 ford taurus and i got a call from the buyer today and he said he needs the bank statement saying that i paid the car off... Problem is the car is in my uncles name because he gave me the car and i never put the car in my name.. and i asked my uncle and he doesnt know the bank he got the loan from and i really dont know what to do at this point. is there anyway arround this?!

ok so i have a 2001 grand prix and the other day i was driving and i look at the temperature gauge and it was close to the red... so i pulled over turned the car off checked my coolant level and it looked fine but just in case i put more in... i drove it home and it started smoking... i checked everything and realized it a hose from my coolant tank to the motor had a hole in it... i changed that and the water pump but the same thing happened (except for the smoking) i really dont know what to do or what the thing is.... do you have an idea? im just hoping i dont have a blown head gasket...

i have a 2002 buick regal and there is some kind of problem with it now, before it stalled and i could turn it back on no problem now, when i turn it on, it turns off and on by itself and all the lights flash and a loud clicking noise is heard from the fuse box.... what could be the problem? how do i fix it? is it expensive ? Please help!

While i drive the first 5-10 minutes im driving the car it stalls and i have to put it in park and start it up again... what can this be? i was told its the theft system but shouldnt it be turning off consistently not the first 5-10 min? please help!
