I have some acquaintances who were being evicted from their home for non-payment of rent. It is a family of 5. They told me a sob-story and I felt sorry for them, so I offered to allow them to stay in my house for free until dec 1st, so they can have time to find a place to live.

They are currently guests in my home and not paying rent.

If by Dec 1st, they haven't moved-out yet, what would be the eviction process in AZ for people who are non-renters in my home?

I recently rented-out a room in my house and before I did,

I asked what he intends to do about watching tv. He said He has a rear projection tv with a burned-out bulb for his room which he said he would quickly get it fixed and he said he doesn't watch much tv anyways.

That sounded fine to me.

I have a nice home theater set-up in my living room

and I pay for Directv which is expensive and is not included in what he

is paying for in his rent or utils. Now that he has moved-in he is saying that he wants to be able to use my tv etc along with his kids who come to visit 3 times a week and he wants to hook-up his wii to my tv. I'm not comfortable with that, because that was never part of the deal. I work outside in the AZ heat. So when I come home, I just wanna be able to plop-down on my couch and watch what I want on the tv and directv I paid for.

If he and his kids are watching my tv, I will feel weird about having

to ask to use my own tv. I'm a single guy with no kids and I don't want to

be a jerk, but I don't feel it's my responsibility or part of the deal to insure

that he and his kids are entertained by my home theater.

If he has access to my tv etc.

He might have less incentive to fix his own tv.

Am I being a jerk? What should I say to my new renter?

My friend has Bed Bugs where he lives.

I have read that diatomaceous earth is an effective treatment for Bed Bugs.

I happen to have some diatomaceous earth for Pools.

I have read that DE for Pools is not recommended to use for BedBugs.

Why is that? Is one kind of DE better to use than another really?

I have been using DirecTV for a year and so-far have been relatively happy with it. I have been faithfully paying approx. $52Month through auto-witdrawls from my checking-account for HD channels with HD-DVR. I am on a 2-year contract with 1 year left. recently, DirecTV sent me a bill with my monthly charges going-up to approx. $82Month!

I can't afford that. How can they increase my charges when we are under contract? What can I do to stop this from happening?

If they increase my charges by approx. $30 a month, I cannot afford that and will have to stop paying them. What can they do to me if that happens? They can't get out of me, what I don't have.

I have a 2nd Gen iPod Touch and have installed the latest OS and updates. When using the "Voice Memo" AP, if I delete recordings on my iPod Touch, they come-back onto it the next time I sync-it!

How do I make-sure that old deleted voice memos don't get loaded-back onto my iPod Touch? Thanx!

I want to preface my comments by saying that generally I LOVE Apple Computers!

However, I recently bought a MacBook which sports a "Mini Display Port". In addition to the fact that this connector doesn't directly plug-in to ANYTHING!

It also has no audio! Why did'nt Apple simply put something like an HDMI connect?

I have been out of the San Jose Sharks loop for a while, but I just learned that the excellent Defenseman Dan Boyle is going to be the new Team Captain. I was satisfied with Marleau, but I understand that changes need to be made to hopefully advance the team's standings in the future. I have felt that Smokin' Joe Thorten is THE best player on the team. I have oftentimes seen him instructing other players and could see that they respect his leadership. I also appreciate Dan Boyle very much. However, I'd like to understand why Dan Boyle was chosen to be Capt. rather than Joe Thorten?

The State of California says I owe them $400 for last years taxes. Since they have no problem paying it's obligations with IOUs,

can I pay them with an IOU?

I have a guy Renting a Room on a month to month lease in my House in Arizona.

In our lease which he signed, it states that he agrees to clean-up after himself in my home and on my property.

Also it states that he agrees to obey HOA rules.

He has an old car that has been leaking a large puddle of oil onto my driveway

now for months.

Now I just received a notice

from the HOA that the oil and the stain on the driveway must be removed by the end of the month.

He is still refusing to move his car

even in though the HOA has given notice.

Doesn't his violations put Him in "in Breach of Contract"?

If he is in Breach of Contract, can I have his car towed away? and can I give him less than 30 days notice if he is in Breach of Contract?

Can I have the local sherriff's dept. do anything?

Last Summer, it seemed like as long as I had my Air Conditioning running in my House, I was constantly sick! During the winter, when I am running the Heat, I didn't get sick. Since both the A/C and heat go through the same ducts. What's going-on? And what can I have done?

I moved into a House a few months ago and shortly after moving-in, I noticed that they have a dog that constantly barks all day! Also they throw trash, beer bottle caps and cigarette butts on my property. In the interest of keeping the peace, I have been biting my tongue concerning these issues. Last night, I came-home after work at midnight and to my surprise, my neighbors were having a very loud party with very loud music and one of their guests had partially parked in-front of my driveway, so that I feared that I might hit it on the way in or out. Because I had to get-up early for work and I absolutely could-not sleep with the loud music. I called the sheriff's dept. They sent-out some deputies who went next-door to ask they to quiet it down and move the car in-front of my driveway. Either the home owner or one of his guests ended-up getting arrested for "disorderly-conduct" and will be in jail for a day or two. Now I'm afraid they will hate me and make my life miserable. What should I do other than move?

I am getting ready to do my 2008 Taxes and somebody told me I need to declare my "stimulus check", however I don't remember how much it was.

I have low test levels and in the past I was prescribed it. Now I'd like to get perscribed for it again, but this time I wanna get the max allowed by law so I can burn as much fat as possible as quickly as possible along with cardio, good diet and weights. Is there a legal limit in the U.S. or in different states? I live in both California and Arizona.

I just got a security job that requires me to ride a MTN. Bike for 7 Hours a night. Because I am leaning forward to reach the handle bars, by the end of the shift, my back is killing me!

What can I do to relieve the pain?

to have sex with each other?

I just got a new Room Renter in my House.

I am a non-smoker and I had the new renter sign an agreement to House Rules including not smoking.

The other day I found a cigarette butt in my garage. But I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, so I assumed it must have been from the previous owners of the House. Then this morning, I went-out to the kitchen to drink a glass of water. As soon as I opened my bedroom door, I could smell what seemed to be the smell of cigarette smoke in the house. Since I haven't actually seen the renter smoking, I don't want to blatantly accuse him, plus he just moved-in last week and renters are hard to find around here, so I don't want to lose him unless it's absolutely unavoidable. What would you suggest I do?
