  • Is labeautes a legit dress website?

I'm looking for a grad dress online and I came across the labeautes website. I haven't heard of this site myself and I was wondering is it a legit website or is it some sort of scam? I haven't found many reviews on it myself, so I was hoping someone could tell me if they have ordered or know of someone who has ordered from there and if it worked out or not.

    Thanks.

  • Can someone tell me why the answer to this parabolic motion physics question is 64.7m/s?

A golf ball is launched at an angle of 15.0 degrees from the ground. What was the initial speed of the ball if it lands on the ground 3.42s later?

I keep getting 129.4m/s as my answer but the answer key tells me it's 64.7m/s. Can someone tell me how to get that answer please?

  • With the equation px^2 + 2px +x + p = 0, how do I find that p = -1/4?

It may have to do with discriminant, which I know is b^2 - 4ac, but I'm not sure if it does or not. So yeah, how do I solve for p?

  • How do you find the domain and range of a composite function?

    Where g(x) = |x-2|, f(x) = -x^3 and the composite function is fog(x).

I already know the domain is all real numbers and the range is less than or equal to 0 because my teacher gave us the answers to the question so we could make sure we did it right, but how do you get it? My teacher explained it today, but I just don't completely understand. So please, any reasonable explanation would be helpful. Also, if you wouldn't mind, a step-by-step process would be much easier for me to understand.

  • Is it just my account or did Youtube's layout change all of a sudden?

I want it to go back to the way it was when I could choose that only the uploaded videos came up in my subscriptions feed. I don't really care who liked or commented on what. But an hour ago it was fine, now the background is white and the layout is completely different. Is this only my account? And if not, is this a permanent change? And if it is permanent, is there anyway I can filter my subscriptions feed so I can only see uploaded videos?

  • What's the character trait called for someone who is good at math/working with numbers?

I need to list my talents for one of my classes and I can't think of the proper term for someone who is good at math and I would prefer not to say "good with numbers" if you know what I mean.

  • In Canada, do we spell it Jewellery or Jewelry?

I'm curious. Plus I need it for a story I have to write for English class and to be honest it's not something I spell a lot, so I don't know which version we use. I know the latter is American and the former is British, but I don't know which one Canada uses.

  • Can anyone else not open chapter 5 on book 2 of Pottermore?

It's suppose to be open now right? Well now chapter 5-11 has a gold ring around it but it's not all gold like chapters 1-4 are and it won't let me access 5-11. I was just wondering if anyone else is having this problem or if anyone knows why this is happening?

  • What are some good ideas for a short story?

And before you go on about me stealing someone else's idea or telling me to come up with my own, just know that I have and I'm genuinely stuck and not intending to steal anyone's ideas at all. I just need somewhere to get started, some inspiration if you will.

I like to read fantasy stories, like about wizards or witches or just general things that could not happen in real life. I'd like to write something along those lines too I think, but I'm struggling for a plot line.

It's for school, so I need an idea fast, otherwise, I would not be asking because then I would have all the time in the world to figure out something.

So if you have any ideas that you wouldn't mind sharing with me, I'd greatly appreciate it.

  • What are some character traits of Piggy in "Lord of the Flies"?

Before you say "read the book", know that I have, but I just suck at coming up with attributes of characters. I know that he's intelligent, but what are some other character traits he possesses and how does he illustrate the fact that he has them?

  • How to soothe my throat?

I have a cold and my throat's been sore for a few days. I began gargling warm water with salt, but I accidentally swallowed it. I almost threw up because it was that bad. Now I still feel nauseous and my throat is practically burning from the salt. I've been drinking lots of fresh water since, but it still burns. Any suggestions on how to make it stop?

  • What's the onomatopoeia for a clock when it chimes?

Like when it's on the hour, and the clock chimes for however many times the hour is. What would you call it? Bong? Ding? Dong?

This is completely serious by the way. I'm writing something for English class and a murder happened at midnight when the clock chimed, but I don't know what sound that would be. Any help would be appreciated!

  • What do you call a person who has betrayed you?

I need to write this thing for English class and one guy betrayed another guy in the story we have to read. How do I describe him? My sentence is "...made their way back to the warmth of the castle after vanquishing the _______ Minister..." The Minister is the person who did the betraying, so what do I call him? I'd prefer not to use the word 'traitor' because, to me, it just doesn't suit what I'm saying.

  • How would you describe a witch's voice?

I have to do this project for Macbeth where we modernize it. I don't know how to describe how the three witches talk. I don't want to say cackle or anything because they're not really laughing, they're just speaking. So how would I describe their voices?

  • Where can I watch Pretty Little Liars online for free?

I've started watching the show because everyone seems to really love it. I'm on episode 8 and I got half way through and it kept freezing up. I've tried tv-links, fastpasstv, and sidereel, and none work for me. Tv-links usually does, but this is the one that kept freezing up. So if you know anywhere else I could watch it online for free and in Canada, because some say US only, then that'd really be appreciated! :)
