Not trying to make them vegetarians or anything. I feed them wet and dry cat food. But I was surprised to find my two cats licking hummus residue from an (almost) empty container. Is it okay for them to have hummus as a once-in-awhile treat?

It was like the New Twilight Zone or Friday the 3th or Tales from the Darkside. Had to do with people recovering items listed in a book in an antique or thrift store that never should have been sold, because they were cursed. One was a compact that an ugly girl used to make her sister's boyfriend fall in love with her. There was a redheaded actress with a single name, like Remy, and an old guy with a white beard. HELP!!!!!

I have a question about what the diagnosis would be for the following: My father, who has early stages of Alzheimer's, also has something else on top of that, I suspect. He thinks he hears and sees people he knew in the past, when there's no possibility that it could be them. Example: he thought he saw his brother in Boston, when the brother lives way out west, in Wyoming. He also thought he heard one of his sisters calling his name outside his window. "But by the time I got there, she was gone," he said. Same scenario. His whole family lives all the way across the country. On top of that, they all think he is dead! He deserted the family decades ago. He also claims to have heard my voice on the radio in a bar. I live a state away, so this is not a possibility. What do you call this?? Is it dementia? Paranoia? Delusional something or other? Brain damage from a stroke he suffered years ago? Please give me reliable resources in answering this, and state if you are a medical professional!

P.S. I am writing a book on my dad and Alzheimer's. If you give me useful, accurate information, I will give you credit in the book!
