My subwoofer says 1.5 for ported box. Does this mean for one subwoofer ? It is a Infinity 100.3 Kappa 275 RMS speaker. So 2 would be 3.0 volume box then ? Or does this mean 2 subwoofers at 1.5 for a ported box ? Anyone ?

I set gains with my phone mates and mp3 style so when I play the radio it sounds better and more bass and louder clearer music. Same volume , so does it affect the output and ac volts at the terminals ? Thanks mate

Subs 275 rms , amps a mtx 300 rms maybe 320 and other a boss 300 both at 2 ohms. I have 3 boxes so I can put one in each or use one box as its sealed and divided as they are built for 2 subs. Should I keep in one box together but still divided or run them in different boxes and just leave the other slot empty ?

This way I can power them both to there rms. This is for those who been helping me. Also my head unit don't distort at max with all at 0. When I up gain I don't hear any distortion just more bass. I have a meter tho.

Can a sub break by clipping for 3 mins here and there ?

I have a amp at 300 rms, 2 infinity subs 275 rms each and 1 diamond audio sub prob 250 rms. Should I put just the diamond on the amp or both infinity's ? Which would pound more ? Diamond audio would get 300 rms and infinity's would be getting 300 rms between them.

All I wanna know is would one sub at full rms be lounder then 2 and half there rms ? Good question IMO

I have a boss ava 450 and a MTX TC 300.1. Both are 2 channel anps, Class d the mtx is but I thought it was a d class and meant one channel. I looked them up and mtx says 300 at 2 ohms so I can hook up 1 sub to each channel at 2 ohms and get 300 rms on each sub ? I have 2 subs at 2 ohms final bridgged right now , rated 130 rms on each sub they are kenwoods SVC. I also have ,2 infinity subs at 275 rms each so can I make them 2 ohms each and put one sub on each channel and get 300 rms each ? The manual says this , yet it says 300.1 amp not 600 so I'm confused.

I have 1 dimond audio sub, 2 Kenwood subs and 2 infinity subs. 2 amps , boss ava 450 and mtx tc300.1 . I want they best set up that will pound. The kenwoods are low rms so I bridge on mtx to get 300 150 each and they are maxed out then. Yet now I'm not sure what it gets I'm confused.

I have 2 Kenwood 4 ohm SVC subs 10inch 130 rms each, 1 diamond audio dvc 4 ohm 10inch not sure rms on it prob 250... 2 infinity 4 ohm dvc 10's at 275 rms each. Boss ava 450 amp and a mtx tc 300.1 amp. Also one 30/fuse in each amp. Boss shows 2 fusea on it but mine has one fuse slot ect.

I have a boss amp and a mtx running seperatly to own wires, 2 kits. They both arebridgged , one 10 inch on one and 2 on the other and both are final ohms of 2. So how does this work if bridgging a amp half's the ohms ?

Some say it does cut in half some say no. I say how would mine even go on if only 2 ohm stable if it was true, then 1 ohm at amp it would be. My amps or not great, so I bet if I load it at one ohm on subs they won't play proving bridge an amp don't cut ohms in half.

Just basically wanna understand why pro installers say yes and some say no and understand why my crap amps run if it is true.

Also I do wanna be safe, I feel them after 30 min of playing and barley warm also.

So when u bridge an amp it cuts the ohms in half ? So if I have three subs wired together and get say a 2.7 ohm load at the end then when I put on bridge on a amp it will cut the 2.7 in half ?

So I have 2 DVC 4 ohm subs wired together and get a 4ohm load or 3.5 on meter....... THEN when I just attach wires to amp as brigged it will drop that 4 to a 2 ohm load on amp ??????? Like speakers won't read it as 2 but amp drops it to 2 just cause its on bridged mode ?

One sub gives me a bad reading on one coil as the spider tore, I glued back on, if I wire it to one coilreads fine. I'f I wire both then get a normal ohm, separate its all over the place.. that's 3 rd question. Can I still run it or can it ruin amp by reading 22 ohm then 10 ect, I fixed spider tho

I have a small amp 300 rms and another 300 rms and want to run subs on both amps. I have one set up with 8 G wire kit already running fine. Can I buy another 8 G kit and run it to my other amp ? This seems cheaper to me and easier as I can just have 2 wire kits running and one to each amp and a fuse by battery's for each powwrr wire to each amp.

Is this OK ????

Second if I get a a distribution block can I run it a 8 gauge to it then 2 8's commong out one to each amp ? Or do I need a 4 g wire to the block and 2 8's coming out. Too me it seems easier to just buy a 8 g kit again and run it to my 2nd amp as its a 8g amp anyway and both amps are small. Like 150 to each sub I get on one amp and the second I may use one sub to run off it or two idk yet.

So a 8g kit is like 25 and seems like less of a problem , I can car less about wires all over or running two power wires.

How can i get 2 ohm.. with two dvc 4 ohm subs ? When i parrelel them then put jumper wire on terminal it says 2.2 ohm.

I have dimond audio 10 in and 2 of them ,it has DVC and says 8 ohm on back of speaker... So each voice coil is 8 ohms meaning its a 16 !? How can I get 2 ohms from one sub OR two together when they are 8ohms

My subwoofers in midfle of song started hitting like a hum, but it was a normal bumping sub noise it was just Non stop and Not to the song so i lowered the head untit and it still didnt stop so had to turn car off....... Why ? What could this be ?

I am fixing my fuel pump, i turned the car on yesterday with the pump rewired as the module burned on the plastic where power wire sits on the inside of the module top connection. I cleaned it out and got it to power up again. So my car now won't start and battery dies when cranked but only at start position, I reconnect cables and battery is good until I crank it.

So could it be the pump being bad making this happen ? I had my bro start the car as I sat in the back to watch the module run for leaks ect to see what caused the power wire from the actual pump to melt at the connected on the inside top on the module (i diagnosing this and was fixing this befofe any battery issue). He started it and said it won't crank but lights stayed on and bright , he then left so I moved the module so I can try to start it and it started like he was lieing to me like no issue. Next day I go to start it and once at crank lights dim and power gone. I take off battery termials and put back on and light are back. I was thinking if I move the wires on the module it causes this, or the fuel line into the pump module was loose.

,how could the pump do this as I think it's the cause of messing with the power as it only happened after my pump died. I took it out and seen melted plastin in connected where red power wire sits. I cleaned it out and hooked it up but only wires and line and it ran. So I been testing it
