This is a really sensitive and embarrassing topic but I really need help. I haven't been to a doctor to actually diagnose me or anything but I think I have BV. No i know i have it because I've done all the research myself. Anyway, I've had it for more than a few years and I've learned to live with it because I'm to embarrassed to tell anyone or talk about it. I just really need help or tips to getting rid of it because it really brings down my self esteem. I don't want to go to the doctor because while I was researching, people were always saying nothing they got from the doctor would work. If you have any tips or remedies that WORK I would really really appreciate it.

okay so i have suffered from acne pretty much my whole life. since i was about 10. it wasn't as bad as it is now i would just get a few pimples here and there but as i got older (im 17 now) it started getting pretty bad. i have it all over my face, the worst spots are probably both cheeks, it goes down my neck somewhat just a few bumps not like completely covered. i also have some on my chest shoulders and back. Ive tried so many things but ive never taken any pills or medication for it. today i was just looking at a few things and it came up in a video i was watching and then i started doing some research. i have heard great things to really bad things (mostly side effects) but now im willing to try everything. so i have few questions i guess:

1- is it really expensive

2- does it really work

3- i did hear if you are female you HAVE to take 2 types of birth control due to other reasons so do you have to do that and if you don't will your doctor not give it to you

4- from the side effects, when you finish taking it, is there long term problems that you wont be able to get rid of

that's all i can think of now and i know a lot of people don't agree with taking the drug but it really is my last resort and i know its a serious drug.
