I'm twenty years old. It seems like it's so hard to have friends or at least wanna keep being around people.

They either have kids now so they can't really do much, or they just wanna hang out with other girls who have kids.

They either just wanna drink/smoke. Which partys were fun when I was like 18.. but now not so much & that's like their only Idea of fun

& to the people that I know that don't drink, I do smoke which i don't smoke around them & I don't smoke everyday & I also don't smoke to get high I smoke to help go to sleep so it's not like i use it in high quantity, but I feel like some of them kinda judge me for it. 'cause they still believe marijuana is a "bad" drug.

& to the people that i do know that smoke they just like to get hella high & just sit there which is sooo boring. I do not understand how people can waste their life away like that.

I just want to find someone that has an equal balance. I give people a chance, but I just think it's immature to waste away doing nothing with your life, but I'm also young enough to still want to do something fun.

I'll mention things that I like to do, but it seems like no one has any interest it it, & for the people who drink/smoke they literally DO NOT wanna do anything unless their gonna get high/drunk.

I'm not sure if I'm too judgmental or if I just need to meet more people with common interests who have the same goals in life as I do.

Any thoughts? Did you feel this way at twenty? why or why not?

Working at Starbucks or Raleys which would be better? I've worked in fast food & retail prior to both jobs. I recently got hired at both Starbucks said they would be flexible Raleys said they would only be flexible to a certain extent. Raleys pay is starting me out less, but they are trying to convince me raises there are worth it. Raleys is not union.

There are pros and cons to each job. I'm leaning more towards the starbucks, but if anybody has experience with raleys of maybe why i should be with them or has experience with starbucks of why i shouldn't.

Just want to hear others opinions

insured me when I did not have a license, I let them know ahead of time I do not have a license the man who I had spoken too said that it was alright. I got my license at the end of December I called to see if it would make a difference with my bill they said that he had marked me down as having a license I felt lied too, plus another thing had went down won't go into full detail since I have already cleared it, but they charged me 10 more dollars a month not. [back to rpesent] I hung up on the lady out of being mad that i was lied to & just didn't pay my bill I know stupid. They sent me my cancelation notice & since i was on a year contract I have to pay the rest. I don't know what to do I know partially it's my fault, but I also feel like the company is shady. Any advice? Should I just pay my debts or should I talk to them & try an compromise something with them?

I work at Taco bell & the hiring manager is just blah! Their rules are ridiculous you can't clock in early if you come in early (understandable) I work the graveyard shift so I work from 11pm to 7am & I'm not "allowed" to clock out at 7 if my manager isn't here (which she is later everyday) but the othe rlady who works at 7 ALWAYS arrives 15/20 minutes early. I just feel like if you're a manager you should be early, in my opinion on time is late but I'd appreciate if she'd actually come ON TIME.

I left today at 7 & she called me & said that I need to stay til she gets there & asked why I left I said 'cause I'm scheduled 11-7 I have to clock in at 11 no time before then I have to clock out at 7 no time after & then she asked me to stay next time & I told her no & she said you can't wait three minutes for me. & I told her nope I can't (even thought she wasn't late 3 minutes she was late around 15 minutes which is early for her.)

IIm pretty sure that's against the law right? They do a lot of things there that seem sketch but I don't know how to go about it other than what I just did. Any advice for what I should do. I'm thinking about just quiting but I'm not sure
