I'm American living in Austria (in Europe, not Australia). I'm attending Nursing school, just 5 more months to go. Have had experience in Dermatology, Neurology, Gynecology, Surgery Ward and just Nursing in general. Have theoretical knowledge in very many areas because the nursing Education in Austria is very complex.
1 AnswerHobbys1 decade agoDress code for Marrakech and Atlas?
I'm a 23 y/o female and will be traveling with my husband for two weeks in Marrakesh and surrounding villages. I would really like to respect the culture and obviously plan on dressing modestly. Are linen pants and long sleeve tops ok? and is it considered disrespectful for a non-muslim woman to wear a scarf on the head, or is it actually advisable? and what type of foot wear is recommendable?
2 AnswersMorocco1 decade agoHaving a really great life, except for marriage...?
I'm an American who has moved to Austria. I now speak fluent German and am currently a few months before finishing Nursing School with honors. Have great friends, already have a great job offer and will earn a decent amount of money. My husband and I had to marry sooner than expected due to visa issues but at the time this was ok. Afterward he told me he wouldn't have married me so soon if there had been another way to get a visa. He never proposed, didn't bother getting me a ring until a year after marriage and he didn't care that i don't have his last name. I do know he loves me but other things make me feel like he loves himself more. When i tell him some of the things he does upsets me, he continues to do them anyway. I work 12 hour shifts sometimes and when I come home he has no problem asking me to cook or clean up. He sits home all day because his job is online. This weekend I cleaned the entire apartment alone and now he has decided to go out drinking with two girls he knows even after i asked if he would want to do something with me tonight. How can I make him see he is hurting me without him becoming defensive? Or make him see the relationship is unbalanced? I just want him to hear me out and try to understand me. Any advice from guys is appreciated.
9 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoHelp with overweight Hamster?
I've had a dwarfhamster for about two months now and for the last two weeks he's been gaining weight. At first I thought I would just minimally reduce his food, but then he got aggresive. So I tried to replace some of his dry food with more healthy veggies, but he refuses to eat fresh food. Then I tried more toys in his cage to see if he would maybe run around a bit more and loose weight. He ignores his new toys. If i reduce his food or change it in any way he becomes aggresive. I just don't know what to try anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions?
4 AnswersRodents1 decade agoHamster Cheek Stuffing Question?
I've owned Hamsters before and I know that they can fit large amounts of food in their cheeks, but a recently bought Hamster has his cheeks stuffed to their maximum holding capability constantly and I have only ever seen him with fully stuffed cheeks, I've never seen him empty them. It also seems as if he's eating some of the food because I haven't found a bunker of food in his cage, so he always has his reserve in his mouth. Is it normal that he would always have maximum stuffed cheeks, or could they be impacted and should I take him to the vet?
