I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands and trigger finger in 2 fingers. Most strength training seems to require a lot of gripping. I don't want to use my hands as an excuse but I do want to let them recover. Thanks in advance!

In both dreams he was in the water near the dock and I was in a small boat using an oar to keep him from climbing into the boat. In his dream, I just kept pushing him away. In my dream, I kept bashing him in the head with it. We had these dreams the same night and it is rare for either of us to remember dreams.

I have been living with my boyfriend for about 2 years. We argue often but never physically fight. He has a drinking problem which he is working on. We do live within yards of the harbor and have a couple boats but the boat in the dream wasn't one of ours. It was a rowboat or maybe a small aluminum skiff. There was also a short length of rope which I did not use. When we woke up we were both upset in a scared kind of way but neither of us was angry.

I don't usually put much stock in dreams but it just seems like there must have been something floating in both our minds to have such similar dreams.

I don't have an ulcer or anything but my stomach starts to really burn after just a couple sips of beer. I'd like to be able to have a drink a couple times a year. (It's been several years since I've been able to drink a single glass of wine.)

Please don't answer if you want to lecture.

I just want to see some opinions.

I changed my name legally but I neglected to change it with Social Security. Now I have no ID in my old name because I turned in my old license when I got the new one and I either turned in or destroyed my old work ID. I called Social Security and the woman barely spoke English and just kept repeating to send originals.

Finally, I sent my original birth certificate, original court order, original driver's license and a letter explaining my dilemma but they sent them back demanding ID in my old name.

I don't know what to do now. I know they will not credit me for work under the wrong name but that's no big deal because if I can ever afford to retire, I don't expect Social Security to exist and if it does, it won't be enough to pay for my toilet paper. What I am concerned about is that I can never change jobs again unless I can get a card.

I feel like I need a lawyer but my old one ripped me off badly and I can't afford to spend thousands more. Please help.

My mom's cat often lies down on his back in front of my cat. Sometimes my cat will lie down in front of my mom's. It obviously isn't a submissive pose like it is in dogs because the cat that is lying down stares aggressively and the other cat growls and complains about it. Is it supposed to be some kind of insult or something?

I don't mean resolved questions. I mean questions that have been sitting for a while. I like to look at questions that haven't been adequately answered in my opinion and see if I can answer them before they get voted on. I just hate having to page through all the recent questions first.

I think we should offer amnesty to illegal aliens who are willing to enlist in the US military for 8 years. We already allow legal aliens to enlist so loyalty shouldn't be an issue. The military is having trouble recruiting enough soldiers and many illegal workers are the right age and in great physical shape. They may not have the education or skills to ever rise in rank but we need dish washers and ditch diggers.

Historically, military service was used as a path to citizenship for many. Why not let illegal aliens do one more job that Americans don't want to?
