I turned on the TV yesterday and the picture was covered with flashing green lines (horiz. & vert.). The image is visible under the lines, but it's not a fluid picture. I tried different inputs -- DVD, Wii, Dish -- same result. Here's where it gets strange -- the built-in TV menus are crystal clear. Weirder still, I pushed the PIP button and the small image (same source) is perfect. TV is 3yrs old. Also, the power flickered off during the day and this was the first time it was turned on after that. Any ideas out there?

For some reason the Locking version is only $1.97/sf @ Lowes while the non-locking Engineered Floors are $2.98/sf. The only significant difference I see between the two is the different shapes of the the tongues and grooves. I was planning on stapling the floors down, but I'd be happy to pay less for the same looking floor and go with the floating version. Any advice or ideas why there is a price difference? Thanks

My daughter, 6, has play-dates with a boy in her class. They get along great and I am perfectly comfortable with them playing together. I was caught off-guard when the boy's mother called and asked how I felt about a sleepover. I didn't really know how to respond. What are your thoughts?

Does it matter if the free-throws are made?

My father-in-law sent me an older USB optical mouse made by Logitech. I plugged it into a USB port and received a message from windows that new hardware was installed and working properly. The light on the mouse never came on, so I tried a different USB port and downloaded the driver. The buttons work, but still no light. Do the lights burn out or is it just busted?

My wife is looking for a conference to go to in the NorthEast, preferably in 2007. Thanks
