  • '07 Impala, front passenger tire making loud humming noise at higher speeds?

Noticed the sound beginning of last week, had been aware of abnormal tire wear and cupping. Replaced front struts and got new front tires. Still humming! Thinking wheel bearing, but not 100%, any suggestions?

  • 2007 Impala LT speedometer not working correctly?

About a month and a half ago I noticed the car was shifting really rough, but no check engine light. (We have only had the car for the better part of a year) Obvious fix was a tune up. Spark plugs were completely burned up, so we replaced with iridium plugs, new wires and air filter.

Yesterday as I was accelerating from a stop light the car lurched and the speedometer plummeted to 0, however the car was still moving. Then the speedometer came right back up and worked fine for my drive to work, that is until I pulled into the parking lot and slowed down. Now it won't register anything below 20 mph and when you accelerate will stay at 0 and then jump to 20 and climb normally. My husband checked fuses, connections and battery cables.. nothing seems to be loose. Our thoughts are computer error of some sort. Anyone experienced anything similar or have any knowledge as to what it may be? Thanks in advance.

  • Question about leased Mobile Home?

We recently entered into a lease of a mobile home. Reading the lease thoroughly it is just the basics, pay your rent on time and obey the rules and at the end of the lease you have the option to purchase the home. Since we moved in we noticed the door had a minor leak. To anyone who has lived or lives in a mobile home knows that leaks equal certain death. Over the last few months the leak has gotten progressively worse where we have noticed we need an entire new front door. Upon contacting the park manager, we were told he is not responsible for repairs to the home. But if we purchased the new door he would have the maintenance man install it. So after scrimping and saving enough money to buy the new door, the manager purchases it and has been beating around the bush and just in general treating us like dirt about putting it on. Telling us he doesn't have to have the maintenance man install it and he could charge us and blah blah blah. Now my thought is considering we entered into a lease, would that not make him our landlord and responsible to ensure the home has adequate heat and is leak free? I am just frustrated, our brand new floor we installed is rotting out and if we do not get this door taken care of soon our sub floor will rot next. Also there is no mention whatsoever in the lease that we are responsible for major repairs to the home.

  • 1990 Volvo 240 DL stalling and idling strange?

ust bought this car for CHEAP has high mileage but has been fairly reliable until yesterday. Gave the car a complete tune up (plugs, wires, air filter, cap and rotor) Even replaced the radiator a few weeks ago. Yesterday after driving around town went to start the car and it stalled, if you gave it gas it was okay and would stay running. But is now stalling more often. Also, It is idling very odd, sounds almost as though someone is rhythmically revving the engine. Anyways it's slow going until you hit about 55-60 on the highway then it will run fine. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. My guess was something to do w. fuel delivery but let's be honest here.. I have no clue.

I have large calves and have always found it difficult to find winter boots that are not only comfy but cute. Now I am considering spending the money to get myself some UGGS, but there are no retailers near my hometown. So they have to be ordered online. Hate not being able to try them on first arrgh. I am torn between the classic short and the cardy short. Anyone who owns a pair and has input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • Where is the speedometer plug located in a 1990 Lincoln Continental?

My mother inlaw took her 1990 Lincoln continental to the "neighborhood mechanic" to be repaired. This jerk ended up doing all kindsa half assed work and didn't reconnect most things, including the speedometer. Now we have done most of the repairs properly but cannot find where to plug the speedometer back in or where the plug for it is located. Any help would be grealy appreciated.

  • Disney Cars toy?? Any idea what it's called?

Ok, my son is asking for this toy and I vaguely recall seeing it, but cannot for the life of me remember what its called. It's some character that wasn't in the movie and he eats or scoops up all the other cars... well thats pretty much the description I have gathered from my 3 yr old. Any help would be greeeeatly appreciated.

  • Help with nighttime potty training plz?

My son just turned 3 and has been daytime potty trained for a few months now. We use pull ups when we go out, just incase. Better to be safe than sorry.

He also wears a pull up @ night. I have started waking him up anywhere from 2 -3 x a night to go potty, he hates it and still usually wakes up soaked in the morning anyways. My husband works til late, so we usually end up having a late dinner, I am thinking that last drink w. dinner is what is doing it. Should I cut off drinks @ a certian time b4 bed? Well anyways any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.
