Is it because the oil pressure is too high, so this ball valve releases the excess pressure?

5 AnswersJokes & Riddles1 decade agoI need a suggestion for a door closer to use on the door that goes from my garage into the house.?
The one I currently use looks like this http://www.astradoorcontrols.com/images/surface_mo...
and it doesn't work very well. It doesn't close the door all the way unless it is opened all the way to provide enough momentum to close the door completely. There are seals along the frame of the door, which makes it more difficult to close.
Closing it by hand is the best method, but I'd like it to automatically close each time.
