I'm trying to help someone with their sheet they way it is currently set up without changing too much.

In column A, there are names. Column B has amounts. I want to put a total per name in column C.

so the sheet looks similar to this (the "..." are there to line the data up in columns, yahoo does not like multiple spaces):

Person A 200.00

................50.00

................30.00

Person B 100.00

................50.00

I want column C to put a total only in the same row as the name without having to put a new formula for every person. I would like to put one formula and then use autofill for the rest of the sheet. It should look somewhat like this in the end:

Person A 200.00 280.00

................50.00

................30.00

Person B 100.00 150.00

................50.00

How can I accomplish this without filling in all the blanks in column A?

I have a friend who is constantly losing purses and she likes to carry wristlets when she doesn't need to carry a lot, but the little strap is just not enough. The only other things I can think of to help her would be to carry a wallet on a chain or to carry stuff on a lanyard, but she's to feminine and stylish for those options.

Any other ideas are welcome! (Fanny packs are also out of the question.)

It looks like someone hacked their way into my mafia. I have never added this person as a friend and have never invited them into my mafia. How do I get rid of them?

The bathroom sink faucet was just replaced. the cold water runs as a tiny trickle, the hot water runs fine. The valves have been turned to allow water to flow. What gives?

The faucet has only one lever which rotates to cold/hot water to run.

I got a lovely little notice that my bank is raising my credit card APR from a fixed 5.9% to a horrendous variable = prime + 7.65%. I called the bank and they said that this action isn't specific to my account, but it is an across the board move due to the state of the economy.

Anyway, I could but I will not close this account because this is my oldest account and I have heard that closing an old account will hurt my FICO score. I have also heard that you shouldn't keep a $0.00 balance for too long or the credit card company could just close the account without even notifying you. Hence my beginning question.

I had a rodent infestation that and I paid an exterminator out of pocket to take care of the problem. Now I need to get the damages repaired. There are several holes in the wall that need to be patched up. My question is, should I find out if my insurance will cover any of this? I don't really want my premiums to go up if it'll be cheaper just to get this taken care of out of pocket.

The new expansion came out this past week so my husband has been "grinding" for the past four days to get to level 80 and then he'll cut down to his regular 20 hours a week... ugh.

I am currently on the lowest dose and am going to quit. I heard you should not drink any alcohol while on this medication, so how soon after you stop taking it is it safe to drink? (I would ask my psychiatrist, but he dropped my insurance, so...)

I currently live in my first house and I am considering selling it to get a condo. What is the proper order to do things in to make sure the transition goes as smoothly as possible? Do you sell your current home first? Do you put an offer on the new home first?

I don't want to end up without a place to live in between nor paying for two mortgages while I wait for the current home to sell. How does this work?

I have a VA mortgage on my home. My husband thinks that the mortgage has to be paid in full before we can use the VA benefit again. Does anyone know how this works?

I don't smoke, I get plenty of sleep, and I drink lots of water. I don't wear contacts anymore. In fact, the eye doctor thought it was the contacts making my eyes red, but I haven't worn contacts for several years now. Is there anything else I can do?

I took my birth control pill (Ortho TriCyclen Lo) as usual and then about 30 minutes later I took another pill because I forgot I had already taken it. So now I'm ahead of schedule with my pills. Can I get back on schedule, or am I now stuck with being a day ahead?

In my family, we do a ladies' day out every January (usually MLK weekend). We go out to eat and go to the movies.

I need a list of chick flicks that came out this month or that come out before January 14.

If not a true chick flick, then the movie must be something that our husbands/boyfriends would not care to see.

Also, the movies must be recently released because some of us go to the movies very often.

We are doing a "Secret Santa" at work, and for two days we're supposed to bring in little gifts for about $1 each.

I'm willing to go up to $5 total for the 2 gifts, because we're not supposed to spend too much (we are also doing a "White Elephant" exchange).

We've filled out these "about me" forms, and she's said that she likes Pepsi, lotion, and tissues, but I'd like to try to do something else than get her a bottle of Pepsi and a travel size lotion....

This is so gross and embarrassing, but I think I have ringworm. It is on my chin. I just bought some antifungal cream.

In general is it better to cover it with a bandage or let it open to the air? I'm not sure if it matters or not, but it is currently not dry. If it is better to let it air out, would it do more damage to cover it up (when I go out in public, because it looks disgusting)?
