I want to get the iPad 2 with the 3g connectivity but I keep asking myself is it worth it? A laptop has more functionality (flash player, dvd drive, etc) but I can get 3g coverage with the iPad. What would you choose and why?

I need to buy a case for my 3rd generation 32 gig ipod touch. I want one that slides on but i'm not sure if there is any size difference between the 8/16/32 gig 3rd gens. I have been looking online but each case just advertises for the 3rd generation, and fails to specify the size. Please help me!!!
