Should I get an iPad or a Laptop?
I want to get the iPad 2 with the 3g connectivity but I keep asking myself is it worth it? A laptop has more functionality (flash player, dvd drive, etc) but I can get 3g coverage with the iPad. What would you choose and why?

Laptop. Because is has A F*CKING KEYBOARD
@ Drake, if you are a SERIOUS gamer, you would want a keyboard.
anyways, if you want something that can be useful, get a laptop, if you just want to be distracted, iPad. Or wait until the iBoard or iMat are made.

Personally, I'd go for a laptop. I know the iPad is very cool, and has some very neat and useful features, but a laptop is just more practical, at least for now. Depending on your budget, you have a few options. I personally like the new Dell XPS line of laptops, but if they're out of your price range, try to look for something with 2 - 4 GB or RAM, 160 - 500 GB hard drive, probably 13 - 15 inch screen (for portability), and enough USB ports for your requirements. I love my iPad, but if you're between those two, get the laptop. You even need a pc to turn on an ipad.

depends on what you need to do. If you type a lot, you would want a laptop, if you game, iPad. If you like a nice GU, iPad. Faster, Laptop. Go in and play with an iPad and then a Laptop. See which one works for you.
