I can't seam to find this any were so I will ask here.

I have Ubuntu 11.10 and would like to try out Windows 8. I have tried Virtual Box but it will not work, I have tried everything.

I made a DVD with the ISO from the Windows 8 website and burned it onto the disc. I put the disc in the computer, re-started it, and it loads fine. But after I chose my language and time, there is a big install button.

I don't want to format my original hard drive and I'm afraid if I click "Install" it won't let me partition/duel boot. Can someone tell me if it does this or how to partition in Ubuntu and then install there? Or maybe even how to duel boot?

I just made a Minecraft skin that I want to upload. I go to Minecraft.net to change it. I click browse, select my skin, then click upload. It then refreshes the page but the skin does not change. I have the skin set to the 64x32 ratio like it says and its as small as the template that you download. Is it just me or everyone that's having trouble?

I have a slow Internet and I want to upload HD videos to Youtube. But since its so slow a 258MB video takes like hour to 2 hours to upload. Right now I am using AT&T so dont say that. I am in the Atlanta GA area

I have a WD My Book Essential 500 GB hard drive. I plugged it in to my USB port. but under my Computer tab, there is a X over the Hard drive and there is a Virtual CD with the WD SmartWare Software but I know that it eventual makes you pay for it and Im more used to using the Windows Backup And Restore. Should I format the hard drive so that I can use the HDD like a big CD and not all that software?

BTW. I know that the Hard drive should work on my computer. The box says that its for Windows XP+
