  • How to convert Volcine file to make viewable in Windows Media Player?

My ultrasound technician said that if I brought her a flash drive she could put my sonogram video on there and I would be able to view it on my computer. Well after I got home and downloaded all the pictures (which are viewable) the video says it can't be converted. The file is a Volcine file type. I've never seen this type of file and have no idea how to convert it. Someone suggested to download Format Factory and I did but have no clue as to how to get it converted. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

  • Getting married..Will I still be covered under Moms Insurance?

I am 6 months pregnant and me and my fiance are wanting to get married before the baby comes. (Been together for 9yrs!) I am not a student nor do I live with my mother and am 23 turning 24 this year. Under the new laws I am able to be covered under my mom's insurance until I turn 26. But I was wondering if I got married would that somehow void my coverage? I called the insurance company and was told as long as I was under 26 I would be covered but they didn't sound too sure and I couldn't prove they told me that unless I got it in writing which I highly doubt I could get. I just don't want to take a chance get married and then not be covered when I go into labor. If we must wait we will but would like to be married. Any advice?

  • Having trouble welding horizontally across on a vertical surface? Please help!?

Well I am new to stick welding and have just started practicing welding on vertical surfaces. My main problem is when I weld left to right on a vertical surface, my flux seems to be dripping off and it almost looks like the molten is sagging down from where I initially welded it. I have tried changing the amperage and travel speed but same problem. I have tried using harbor freight 7018's and lincoln 7018's and they both have same results. I have tried it around 110 amps, 100 amps, 90 amps, and so on. The machine is set on dcep voltage. Reason I am worried is because the flux drips off of the weld and that is what keeps the oxygen out when the molten is hot, so if the flux is dripping that means my weld will most likely be week and porus. Can anyone tell me how to keep the flux ontop of my weld as I go across on a vertical surface? My vertical ups are not as bad since the flux drips below ontop of the molten, my main problems seems to be left to right. Any insight would be great!

  • 2004 grand prix gtp lower intake manifold gasket leaking after 14 months? HELP ON LOCATION?

Just had this gasket replaced 14 months ago with the new and improved aluminum ones and just noticed water coming from the little red rectangular gasket that goes inbetween the two aluminum ones, dead center of the motor. I dont understand how water can be coming from this area without getting into my oil? My oil looks good, no water in that. Does this mean water could be getting into the air intake too? My o2 sensor just went out the other day and I have always heard that antifreeze is poison toward o2 sensors. I did a radiator leak down test and it did not hold 15 psi in the system. compression test for head gaskets were ok, they passed. Car started having this weird overheating problem about a month ago, When car was cold and thermostat was cold the temperature would raise to over 3/4 marker and stay for a minute and then drop rapidly back to its normal riding position but the gauge was never stable. My hypothesis, thermostat closed caused air to siphon into the system causing excesses pressure, thermostat would open causing the excessive pressure to push alot of the water into the resevoir making the car overheat, then water would renter the system making the temperatur gauge ride in its normal range. Now im just wondering if this LIM gasket could be the culprit. If anyone has any advice or knowledge on these 3.8 engines please let me know. I have posted a link below shoing the location where water is leaking out. This is not my engine but its a 3.8 similar to mine.

Note: Car has new water pump, radiator flushed, new thermostat...

  • how does my dehumidifier work in my new portable air conditioner?

LIke the title says, I just purchased this unit new and I had it on low cool, I decided to turn the dehumidifier on and the unit sounds the same as when I had it on cold/low...The compressor stayed running and nothing changed in sound? My question is, is dehumidifier just the air conditioner on the lowest setting since that's when the unit usually condensates the most? If that's the case every air conditioner should be marketed as a dehumidifier too..Any help on this would be appreciated..

  • Can I drain a fuel tank this way?

Truck is a 94 ford f250 and it has 2 tanks. The rear pump is so weak it barely runs. I have changed the filter and the truck is still hard to start and dies when pump gets hot. I checked the shrader valve on the fuel injection and barely any gas comes out when pressed. The front tank has a working pump but am wondering if I can disconnect the gas line from the filter and turn my front tank on and then turn the key on and have it drain into a bucket? Will this work for draining the tank? Thanks

  • Easiest way to drain front gas tank on 94 ford f250?

The truck just broke down in the middle of the street so am racing around the clock to fix it. It does have 2 tanks on it. The rear fuel pump just went out and the front tank is full of old gas. Last time I tried to run the front tank it sucked alot of water and took forever to flush the line out so I know for a fact its full of crud, hasn't been used in over 10 years! I am for sure the pump up front works so have decided to drain this out and see if I can get it to run on the front tank, what is the easiest way to drain the tank on these trucks? siphon gas out? drop the tank? is there a drain plug? any help would be appreciated.

  • Need help from a cement/morter expert...Cracks in bricks?

Ok just moved into a new house that has a few cracks in the bricks. The morter inbetween the bricks is a sand color and looks to have sandy grain in it. People have tried to patch some of the cracks before I moved in and they just used regular grey color which sticks out like a sore thumb. So im going to fix there hack job and the new cracks but am wondering how to get my morter mixed to where it looks sandy and is not grey? Obviously you mix sand but what do I need to buy when I go to home depot? Do I need to mix morter mix with portland cement and then sand? Read online that some people buy this dye to stain the cement that color? I am good at mixing concrete as I have made patio's and sidewalks in the past, just not anything with sand..Any help would be appreciated.

  • My refrigerator is making a burning smell???HELP?

Its an older fridge and today we thought our house was on fire. We could smell a "burning wire" smell and finally traced it coming from under the fridge. There is a fan under there that is on 24/7, its sucking air through the condenser coils and blowing on the compressor. Every 15 minutes or so the compressor will click on for 10 seconds and then it will click off and that seems when the smell is at its peak. Both fridge and freezer are blowing cold and are blowing from the inside vents constantly. The inside temps seem to be normal, its whats going on on the outside. If the compressor is going bad why is everything still cooling properly? I am confused, please help!!!

  • What are the earliest symptoms for asbestos?

What are the absolute earliest that a person can experience symptoms from asbestos? I MAY have been exposed to asbesto's back in September of 2010, which is about 4 months ago. I have recently encountered a mild pressure pain in my chest that moves around from day to day. One day it may be over by my armpit and the next day it may be on on the whole opposite side of my chest. I can take deep breaths ok and the pain doesn't get worse when I inhale. The pain started 2 months ago and it will sometime stay for a couple weeks and then seems to heal but will start back up within another week or two. Sometimes I feel like a hypochondriac and that I do have cancer and may die but I know I am just freaking my self out. But what has got me worried is now I think I can feel it in the bottom of my throat (2" below adams apple) and it feels like it is making my throat swell a little. It was worse a few days ago but seems to be healing AGAIN! I am going to the emergency room here within the next week but was just wondering if these could be symptoms from asbestos since its this early? I have no cough, feel fine besides my chest and throat.

  • The hood lift shock on my car started smoking??? HELP!!!?

Ok let me start off first saying that I am VERY mechanical inclined and have alot of knowledge when it comes to cars. HOWEVER, the problem I encountered the other night has had me thrown for loops. The car is a 04 grand prix gtp, here is what happened. I was driving to the store at night (32 degree weather) and when I pulled up to the red light I started to smell a fire smell. I then started to think that my car was on fire so I immediately pulled over. When I went to raise the hood I heard electricity arcing when the hood was raised and the smell was really strong under the hood. Looked over all the wires and the engine and no problem was found. Well when I went to shut the hood, when the hood was going down I heard the arcing sound AGAIN and even saw smoke where it was coming from. Everytime I raised or lowered my hood, the lift shock ( holds hood up) was arc and smoke causing the smell I was smelling. I then thought maybe my car wasn't grounding and maybe electricity was causing the gas in the pump to malfunction and arc??? Well lucky I had tools in my car because I then disconnected my battery and took it off the car and then raised and lowered the hood again and the electricity sound continued and the more I did it, the more it was melting inside out. I was so frightened by this I was scared to even take it off the car because I was afraid it could explode and get killed by shrap metal. But I knew it had to come off and its only held on my metal clippers so I removed the pump and problem went away. I have drove the car alot since then and the smell has totally went away. The thing that confuses me the most is, why didn't it do this when the car was sitting in the driveway? Why did this problem occur when the car was in use? Is it possible the cold air could of made the pump malfunction or something? Sorry for the long post but any input would be appreciated.
