  • Wheel Bearings....where are my car people!?

Okay, I have a 99 alero, and want to replace the wheel bearings myself. The dealership wants 315 for just one side, and I want to do both at the same time. Does anyone know of a site, or a book that I can buy to do this myself. OR, if any of you are kind enough to give me the "wheel bearings for dummies" version on here, you would help me tremendously.

  • Attention all car people....?

I have a 99 alero, and have a question that hopefully someone can answer. Recently, started this week, my car has been making a humming/buzzing noise. It sounds like its coming from the drivers side, and it is not the muffler (even thought at first I thought it was...just to give you an idea of what the noise sounds like) I then began to think it was because my tires were low on air, but those got pumped up and the noise is still there. The noise doesn't start until about 35-40 mph, and gets really loud from 40-50, but then quiets down to a muffled buzz at all the rest of the higher mph. I know this is proably hard to diagnose, but any guesses would be GREATLY appreciated.

Keeping my fingers crossed it isn't anything too pricey.

  • Nintendo DS.....?

I'm thinking about buying a DS. My only concern is that I am an avid gamer, and can beat games rather quickly. My fear is that the DS games are going to be to simple. DS owners, is this going to be true? Am I going to find the games too easy to beat? Pretty much, I am asking, are the games challenging?

  • DS or gamecube?

I don't know which one to buy. Any thoughts? Also, do any of you know anything about the wireless adapter for the DS? Is it worth the purchase? (Saw it at Best Buy today)

Please no comments on how I should buy a Wii or a PS3 or an Xbox360....I have no desire to buy any of those right now.

  • Nurses, Doctors, Med Students, I need your help. Others are welcome too.?

I was diagnosed with a DVT (blood clot in my leg) because of trauma to my leg. (I was on OrthroCylin for 5 years up to the accident, with no problems.) Because of the blood clot, I was taken off birth control and told to consult with an OBGYN. Which I did. We found that depo-provera was the best option. I've been on it for a little over 3 months, with no noticable side effects.

Anyway my question is, can I go back to the pill once the blood clot is gone and I'm taken off the blood thinners? I've had no problems with depo, but kind of perfer the pill over the shot. I just want to know if I will ever be able to go back to the pill, or if I'm stuck on the shot from now on because of one fluke blood clot.

  • Happy Feet...?

I was just wondering if the happy feet game coming out on PS2 and other game systems is combatitable with dance pads that you would use for DDR games. It looks like it is, but I was wondering if anyone knew for sure.
