How often (daily, weekly, monthly) do you experience sexism and where (work, home, at the store). Please explain a bit about the subtle or obvious act of sexism.

If to emasculate is to castrate a man or weaken a man, what is the word for when it applies to a woman or when a woman feels this way?

Been with my guy 3 years. He's 38, I'm 30. In this last year we bought a house together. He has yet to say I love you. When asked, he replies, "I'm getting there". What the heck does that mean? This may sound arrogant, but I'm one of the best girlfriends a guy could ask for. So I don't understand why it's so hard for him to utter those 3 words. He last said it to his girlfriend of 5 years when he was 25. I would think by now, at his ripe age, he would know.

I was cubing butternut squash - not a first time- and the sticky natural juice coated 3 fingers. I washed my hand several times, but I could not remove this tight skined "enamled" sensation off my fingers. My skin started to crack and flake. Very strange and I can't find any articles on this possible allergic reaction. Rubbing lotion did not help. Can anyone shed some light as to why this happend and what exactly it is? Thank you
