I shipped a package home from Italy on June 18. I was given a tracking number to follow. The package bounced around a lot. Often staying in one place for several days. It hasn't moved since July 6 and the only thing it says is Arrived at Milano Gateway

Does anyone know what is going on? I can't ask Poste Italia myself because they have no email to contact, only phone and I don't speak Italian. That package is Incredibly important to me and I need to know what is going on and how to fix it

this morning my iphone refused to open my ipod at all.

I've tried docking it, syncing it and using the quick play options. Nothing i try will make the music play, i can't even see my menus... it just shows a white screen until i do a force exit.

i don't know whats wrong but i would like to see if there's a quick fix without having to go to an apple store since the nearest one is a fair distance away.

I left it home while I was gone for a week and when I returned it was gone. No one broke in, (we had a neighbor feeding our dogs so she was in and out at least 3 times a day.) Nothing else was missing except for the computer and the separate mouse.

It had none of those Lo-Jack programs or anything as it was only three days old and I hadn't even put on the Word programs. What (other than watch ebay and craig'slist) can I do to get it back safe and sound?

i just found out this morning that a cousin whom I was very close to died in a violent car crash last night on her way back to school. i'm really confused and scared and I don't know how to deal with it

I would love some advice preferably without the "walk it off" or "look on the bright side." can anyone tell me how to get through this?

The rabbit lay in front of me. It had long since stopped twitching but I still hadn’t worked up the nerve to eat it. I avoided raw meat whenever possible on principal. I know, I could’ve made a fire right? But what with all the wood soaked with rain I had to do without. My stomach rumbled again and my resolve weakened a little more. I had to eat something before I starved myself to death. Testing to see if it had magically become more edible while I pondered my pickiness, I reached out a claw and turned the rabbit around a couple of times. Bleh. Still as gross and raw as before. “I should probably eat it while it’s still fresh…”

Sighing heavily I sat up and scooped the rabbit up. Bit by bit I cleaned and skinned it. Leaving out the grosser details I mollified my hunger for a bit. “ugh… I hate raw meat. Stupid rain. Stupid rabbit. Stu-”

KRA-KOOOOM! Little bits of rock and dust rained down on me “Stupid Thunder!”

it's about a gorgon girl, i wanted to do a character that's not a humanoid

It's an excerpt from a book I'm writing and it needs serious critiquing.

Please don't criticize details, it's fictional in nearly every way.

“Not again Fin” I signed. Alan translated for me in a broken voice so Fin could hear.

“And why shouldn’t we? I’m tired of sleeping in the dirt!” Fin answered angrily.

“We all are but we can’t risk it.” Again, Alan translated.

“Enough Alan, I can understand her on my own!”

Fin had worked himself into a temper again. I signed that I would handle him and Alan sat on a rock and busied himself with his whittling.

“Fin, you know as well as I do that we can’t risk going into town yet.” I signed with my hands in his, “they’re still looking for us and we stand out too much.”

“We do not! We are just like everyone else… only…different…”

“Listen to me Fin, We are broken. I can’t speak, Alan sounds like a child when he does and can’t hear, and you are blind Fin, I’ve told you before that your eyes are… strange to others. We’ll do better out here on our own until things die down.”

“Elsie,”

“No Fin, please. Just for a week or two. Until they’ve moved on.”

He sighed. “Ok Elsie, until they move on.” He agreed reluctantly.

I smiled at him and held up his hand to my face so he knew. Alan whistled tunelessly from his rock. A brook somewhere babbled along with him, though he didn’t know it. It was peaceful. We were all sitting in the shade of a large grove of spindeltrees surrounded by several moss-covered boulders, about three miles from the road into town. It had been a couple of days since I’d slept well so I laid my head on Fin’s shoulder and closed my eyes.

Fin was tired of sleeping outside. He was tired of being hunted. He was tired of always being hungry and tired. But mostly he was tired of being the odd one out. Elsie and Alan always understood each other because both could see what the other signed. But Fin always needed someone to hold his hand or whisper in an ill-used voice what was going on.

He was tired of being broken. If he could see again he would be normal. And he wouldn’t need Alan to tell him what was going on. And Elsie… Elsie would be able to sign to him without having to go slowly so he could feel it. He would be able to understand her. He could help her. If he weren’t blind then they could go into town! And Elsie wouldn’t have to sign; he would just walk right into the inn and demand a couple of rooms for them. Everything would be better if he was whole.

Alan stopped whittling and looked over at Elsie and Fin. Elsie had her head on Fin’s shoulder and Fin was staring blankly at the sky, one hand around Elsie’s waist. Alan felt hot tears of jealousy burn in his eyes and he wiped them away. Fin didn’t deserve her. Fin didn’t even understand her. Not like he did. It wasn’t fair! Why did Elsie like Fin anyway? What did she see in him? Certainly she didn’t think he could understand her like Alan did. Alan didn’t need to hear around Elsie, she was his ears and her voice was her hands. They didn’t need Fin anyway…

I'm full of mixed feelings over how i want to see it end...

on one hand, i want to see Harry triumph over Voldemort and save the day, but on the other hand,( PLZ PLZ PLZ don't trash me for this, it's just an idea that i want to put out...) I kinda want to see the bad-guy to win so the story ends on a fabulous twist... it's become so over done, the whole good triumphs over evil thing, it would be refreshing for the bad guy to win for once... OR, what if Harry gets convinced to go over to the darkside to either take Voldemort's place or rule beside him, i mean think about it, he's become so angry and frusturated lately that i'm seeing a pattern between young master Potter and young master Riddle... you have to admit, it would be an interesting twist...

what do you think should happen?

I have serious Writers block and I need Ideas for the next chapter in my story. Is there anyone who can help???

Main character: Maior aka Lark is a Pirate, in fact she's the Pirate-Lord's Adopted niece. Lark swipes apples and money from a market stall. Lark hides from cops but gets caught. Lark gets thrown in jail where she meets a boy named Stuart

He helps her escape if she promises to take him with her to the Pirate-Lord. She escapes. Stuart "comes after" her. They walk for a while and talk.

Ok so here's the deal

I don't know but I think these boys I know are dropping hints.

Case 1.

Kye comes up to me in the library and asks if Ihave a bf. I say no. he leaves. 2 min later he comes back and askes if I have an answer. I told him I wasn't dating right now. he leaves.

is he trying to ask me out? he's a year younger than me and recently dumped my friends little sister who's also a freshmen.

Case 2.

Ian, a guy I hang out with on a regular basis has started sitting closer, putting his head on my shoulder and tickling my arm and knees. Nothing innapropriate but just closer. Is he dropping a hint, or is he just more comfortable around me than before?

Case 3. a guy i'v never spoken to starts talking to me. About chinchillas. (we have a pet chinchilla named Gus in my Bio room) This guy starts talking to me about Gus and won't quit. he's normal and everything but he gets all jumpy or sweaty when we talk. I doubt hes getting turned on by Gus. Am I over-analizing these cases?

In a west Texas town, employees in a medium-sized warehouse noticed the smell of gas. Sensibly, management evacuated the building, extinguishing all potential sources of ignition -- lights, power, etc. After the building had been evacuated, two technicians from the gas company were dispatched. Upon entering the building, they found they had difficulty navigating in the dark. To their frustration, none of the lights worked.

Witnesses later described the scene of one of the technicians reaching into his pocket and retrieving an object that resembled a lighter. Upon operation of the lighter-like object, the gas in the warehouse exploded, sending pieces of it up to three miles away. Nothing was found of the technicians, but the lighter was virtually untouched by the explosion.
