My daughter is 4 months old and she weighs 15.4 pounds. Im asking this because this is my first child and I really dont know how big she is supposed to be. I have a friend that has a daughter that is about to be one and she only weighs like 17 pounds. I know that my baby is healthy cuz she just went to the docter this week but I was just wondering if she is too big. She is formula fed and I know that breast fed babies tend to be a little smaller but she looks like a giant compared to other babies her age. She is 25.5 inches tall already. That is 5.5 inches she has grown since birth. Guess I just need some reassurence that she is normal size. Me and her father are both over 6 ft tall and big people in general so maybe she just got our genes..???

So me and my boyfriend live a few states away from his family and his three sisters and his mother have apperently been going through some family problems where the girls are being disrespectful to their mother and not having her back financially. Four months ago his grandmother passed away. The apartment where she lived was cleared out and all the utilities cut off. So this morning all three of the sisters woke up with a missed call from the landline at his grandmothers place! How did this happen? Is there an explaination for this or is his grandmother contacting them from the dead? We tried to call the number ourselves and it says it is indeed disconnected. We feel it is weird because she was always the one to keep the family in line if they started disrespecting one another. Anyone out there experienced anything like this? Any opinions will be appreciated. Thank you!

My baby is starting to teeth and she is 15 weeks old. She will be four months old on the 4th of Feb and the box of baby orajel says to consult a dr before use if your baby is not 4 mos old. Just wondering if other mothers started using it earlier. My baby is healthy and that I know of doesnt have any allergies.

So I am currently unemployeed and my federal student loans are in forbearance. However I also have private loans that are not eligable for a forbarence of deferment. I can not afford to pay them because I dont have an income right now. So I got an email saying that they are scheduled to default on Jan 5 2011. So my question is....can they sieze my federal tax return for repayment of a private loan? I have heard that only federally backed loans can take your tax refund...but I just need more input from yall....thank you in advance for your answers!

I owe student loans that have been sent to collections. will they take all of my tax returns this year? Do they have to notify me about waige garnishments and taking my tax returns before hand? I havent recieved any notification.

I had my daughter in October of 2010. I know that I will get a little more on my taxes when I claim her because I have a low income. My question is... is it one set deduction for a child or does it depend on when in the year she was born?

So a few days ago this lady asked a question about her and her partner having a baby....this lady answers and starts ranting about how she shouldnt be trying to have a baby with a "partner" and she needs to get married and all that. So I reply like , forget that lady she is dumb...do what you do...it is yours and your partners decision on what you should do. So the lady reports abuse on me for offending her. Ummm...I find it offenseive what you said about marrige. Married people dont raise children better then not married people. My bf and I have a beautiful daughter that we raise very well together but we have not yet gotten married. Maybe we will...maybe we wont...its our business though. That had no relevence with the question asked and I think that that lady should get reported for abuse. Some people have alot of nerve. Just because someone disagrees with what you comment it should not give them the right to report abuse for something stupid. And to think she was a top contributer. I wonder how many other valid points have been deleted because she didnt like them....???

So my doctor who delivered my baby...in October 2010...told me on my 6 week exam that if I chose to take oral contraceptive it would take it two full months to get into my system before I should have unprotected sex. But when I went to get my birth control the nurse told me it would only take 7 days to get into my system. I even asked her about spermacide as a back up for a few months until the BC gets into my system really well. She was adament that after 7 days of taking it correctly I could have unprotected sex. This confuses me...who is right? I have been taking it for a month but am reluctant to loose the condoms...what do yall think?

I worked at a restaurant as a server. I had a table that paid with a visa gift card. They left a tip for me...a crappy one...and then left. When I went to get the slip I realized they left their gift card on the table. I took it and used it because they did not come back to claim it that night. I was supposed to turn it in to my manager and when the people came back for it the next day they found out it was used and threatened to get video from the places I used it. When I told my manager I used it I got fired. I offered to pay back the money but I am still waiting to hear from my manager. Can I get in trouble even though they left it there? I know that I was wrong...but can I be arrested? I was hoping that it was just a good tip...but now I am afraid they will press charges against me? Advice...

Ok...so I have been with my boyfriend for 3 yrs now and we just had a beautiful baby girl. Even though we were not planning on having kids right now we took her as a gift from God. We have had alot of problems in our relationship with infidelity in the past and it is hard for either of us to trust one another. However, we are both there for each other through any and everything. He is a wonderful father and a good man. If i have had a hard day he is always there to rub my feet and listen to my problems. I am also there for him too. We can talk to eachother about anything and even the touchy subjects that used to cause arguements are easier lately to talk about. We have made growth in our relationship is what I am saying. Now here comes the problem. The way he sees things is not the way I do. I am a hard worker and try to do the right thing. I try to set an example for others to walk with God. Im by no means perfect and I have my downfalls like everyone else but I at least try. He on the other hand is the type of person that thinks only of himself and his. He goes to church with me but when church is over it is over. Monday morning it is back to the same ole him. I have expressed to him that it is important now that we have a child that we grow our relationship in Christ. We talk about marrige and stuff but it is me that has doubts. His main problem is an addiction to porn and sex. He looks at porn alot. I have looked at it with him in the past and he always wants me to but I just feel sorry for the women in porn. It ends up making me feel sick to my stomach that someone would share something as private as sex with the whole world for material gain. I have told him this but he blows it off like I am over reacting. I have caught him also talking to women about sex on personal sights before. He has promised to talk to the pastor about his sexual addiction. He hasnt though. But how do I push this issue without pushing him away? I mean if I havent caught him doing anything sneaky in a while how do I just pop up and say yo...remember what you said about getting help! And if he doesnt feel like looking at porn is going in the wrong direction then what is the point. That is just feeding his sex addicton. I have prayed and prayed and dont know how to proceed. Should I move on and find someone who shares the same values as me or should I stick by him and keep praying. I dont want to waist anymore time but I dont want to let a good man go because I didnt have faith in him to make a change. Help with any advice you have. Thanks.

So I just moved into a house and the previous owners had cats. Alot of cats and the whole place reeks of cat pee. There was a moisture problem in one of the bathrooms because of no exaust fan but it has been fixed. There is mold in the corner of the shower that I need to clean. I was told that clorox bleach would kill this particular mold spore and that is what I should clean it with. I know that if you mix ammonia and bleach that the fumes are deadly when inhaled. So there is ammonia in cat pee right? So if I start cleaning with bleach will the ammonia fumes mix with the bleach fumes and be harmful to me? Please help if you can. Thanks.

I just had a baby and am about to start taking the pill but I am horrible about remembering to take it at the same time daily. I have heard that the shot makes you gain weight and heard that the IUDS can fail and if you get pregnant you could have a miscarraige. Has anyone heard or had any experience they wish to share about any of these methods? If you have any suggestions they will be much appreciated. Also...what is a good pill to be on?

At this point my family and I are homeless and living from hotel to hotel. I don't want to, but am forced to get rid of my 2 yr old pit bull mix. The shelters in my area put any "aggressive breed" dog down because they cant adopt them out due to insurance liability. I have searched and searched for somewhere to take her and have had no luck. Please help if you can!

I have three tattoos, one on my chest, one on my back, and the most recent one on my ankle. I just got the one on my ankle about three days ago and it hurts really bad. I have been working alot and on my feet alot since I got it and I am wondering would that make it hurt worse? It is swollen pretty bad and red around it but I guess that would be normal for a new tattoo. I dont remember my others being that sore. Do you think that I should be worried?
