2 AnswersOther - Internet9 years agoCan I do a Full System Restore on a computer that previously had Windows XP & now has Windows 7?
I have a 5-year-old Dell Dimensions E521 desktop computer that had Windows XP on it but with the help of a friend now has Windows 7. Well, it's been having some problems lately, so I thought maybe I could just "start over" and do a total system restore and bring it back to factory settings. But, since it has a different OS now I don't know what to do. Plus, I don't have the original disk that it came with. If somehow I find a way to do a full system restore what will happen? Is it even possible to do a restore and go back to the beginning? Could I potentially and permanently screw up my computer? Any help, suggestions, tips, advice--anything... would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
5 AnswersDesktops9 years agoHow can I get my 6-month-old puppy to stop whimpering at strangers?
We have a 6-month-old Soft-coated Wheaten Terrier, whom we've had since he was 4-months-old. Most of the time he's mild-mannered and quiet at home, but other times he can be extremely hyperactive (jumps on people, runs from here to there), especially when we're outside or in a new place. When we take him out for walks he pulls and whimpers when he sees strangers, not out of fear, but because it seems like he'd rather be with them.
I'm sure it can't be because he's lonely because we have another puppy (same breed) who's 3-months-old. The puppies are always together and playing, but they're the complete opposite when it comes to strangers.
Is our other dog bored with us? What can we do to change his behavior? It's become really embarassing! Please help!

Would I save money if I take the Metrolink trains to school, which is a 30 mile trip from home, instead of my gas-guzzling SUV?

2 AnswersUnited States1 decade agoWhat would you do?
My husband and I have been thinking of relocating from Southern California to Central Florida for a little while now. We have two small children and my husband works for a great company in L.A. and gets paid well, but it's not enough with the high cost of living in CA. We thought of possibly moving near Orlando where houses are only a fraction of the price compared to where we live now. We plan to save some money for the next few months and then rent until we find the right house.
++ I've lived in Southern California all my life and would like something new and different away from family (if you know what I mean). Actually we'd both like a change of pace. We've already sold our house and have been renting so, that's one less thing to think about. And, my husband is tired of his job and is more than willing to get another one. However, we don't have a lot of money so, we're hoping to find jobs as soon as we get there.
Does this sound too risky? Should we think this over more?
Thanks
4 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoCruise Ship Shore Excursions - Snorkeling?
My husband and I are going on a cruise to the Bahamas (Freeport & Nassau) in a few weeks, so I just wanted to know whether it would be better to book a snorkeling tour through the ship, find one online, or just go on our own?
7 AnswersCruise Travel1 decade agoHaving trouble with iPod Shuffle (Gen. 2)...?
I've been having problems with my ipod for a while now. I can't add music or anything. The music that's on it doesn't show up in my itunes library. And, error messages keep popping up. So, I tried restoring it and another window popped up... "iPod could not be restored. An unknown error occured (1418)."
Grr! Apple sucks. I should have gotten a Zune like my friend said.
Is it fixable? :[

My husband and I will be going on a cruise in a few weeks, and we'll have about a day and half to spend in Orlando/Port Canaveral, FL...
So, which one of these places would be worth seeing?
Btw, I've been to both, but that was more than 10 years ago. My husband hasn't been to either one of these places yet.

1 AnswerMySpace1 decade agoRadiologic Technology Degree Program offered by hospitals?
I'm almost done with the required courses and prerequisites that I need to apply for the Radiologic Technology program. But, there's a 2-year waiting list.
Can I just get my degree through a hospital based program? If so, how can I apply? Is there a wait? And, do they only take a certain amount of students? Plus, what are some of the requirements to get in (ie. 3.0 GPA)?
Thanks in advance.
