Is it okay if my child misses the LAST DAY of the school year?
My 2nd grader will have to miss the last (2) days of school before summer vacation begins for family reasons.

It depends on the school and how many times he/she has been absent during the school year. I would call the teacher and speak to them and just let them know that it is a family related situation and unavoidable. They will most likely be fine with it and work with you.

Your her parent, if there are reasons why you feel she should miss school then by all means pull her out.
Really though she isn't missing much, all it is for the second last day is a wrap up of the year and the final day is basically a class party for the little ones.

I wanted to be induced once I was once 40 weeks, but the doctor told me that my cervix was simplest 1cm dilated and it was once my 1st being pregnant... I used to be due on Monday, Dec. 15, and my induction was once scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 23... My blood pressure was once commencing to upward thrust a bit throughout my last week. Nonetheless, I went into labor on Dec 22, but I was once caused anyhow considering the fact that my blood stress was wicked excessive that morning. The healthcare professional told me once I was once forty weeks that if I was once induced too early, i'd be in a variety of affliction for roughly 3 days from labor. When you consider that I was once 3 half cm-4 cm when I used to be brought about, labor went by less complicated. :-) it can be your choice to claim no to the induction. Personally, i would wait and let your little one make a decision when the huge debut must be except you begin to run into complications.

Too bad. The last days are usually the best from the child's point of view. There's little or no work to be done and lots of play activities. It's a time for bonding and good-byeing. Make sure the teacher knows it's your child's last day so that she or he can bring that to the classes attention. Tell your child to say good-bye to his friends, those with who s/he wishes to remain in contact with, make sure s/he's got email and phone info for contact purposes.

That is totally fine. They probably won't do much the last two days anyway. I missed like the last week of school when I was younger. It just starts to matter when they start to take finals.
