I hate this time of the year. My birthday is in a couple days, and I always dread it. I never get anything. I have to buy myself my own birthday presents. I have no immediate family or friends that care enough. All I want is a few gift cards, nothing much. Just something that I don't have to buy with my own money for one year. I don't think that is too much to ask. Just something. I feel like I'm the only one. I don't even get a card from anyone.

I had to go to the hospital about a week ago for a corneal abrasion on my left eye. (May 5th). The day or two after that, I started feeling sick...thought I was just getting a cold, had a sore throat and all that. Now, about a week later, I still have a sore throat, I'm feeling very 'phlegm-y', my voice sounds like I have a cold/hoarse. 'Mucusy' cough, I have to clear my throat all the time. No fever (as my mom says, but we don't have a thermometer). I don't feel very weak or fatigue, I still feel able to go out and do daily errands, etc.

I have no insurance so going to the doctor is pretty much out of question as I have only a part time minimum wage job

Please tell me it's just a flu or a bad cold, because I have the biggest fear of hospitals and I had to go to one just last week (and that was my first hospital visit in at least 12-15 years, I'm 20).

I just got my first job at Walmart, which I absolutely hate.

I've been working there for about a week now.

I'm 20, and a female, and I'm a cart pusher at Walmart which I believe is unfair as females shouldn't be applicable to this job, I misunderstood the job description.

I talked to one of the assistant managers, a couple CSM's and no luck, they said they have to get approval from the store manager for a change to happen, which seems unlikely. I can't physically push 15-20 carts back and forth like they expect me to. They also give me extremely long shifts, like 8-9 hours. However, before I got the job at Walmart, I applied at JCPenney's. They called me back a few days ago, I had an interview today, and they hired me on the spot. JCPenney's pays 75 cents less than Walmart. A part of me wants to keep the job at Walmart and also work at JCPenney's. The job I'll be doing at JCP also fits my needs and wants more. I just would like some advice

Ok, so...I had a misunderstanding of the position, I am a "stock associate"/cart pusher...I thought the primary job was stocking shelves, etc. But I was wrong. The primary job is pushing 15-20 carts to the front of the store from the parking lot. The big issue is, I am a girl, and in all honesty cart pushers shouldn't be allowed to be female. This job is killing me and I've only done it for one day. They expect me to push 15-20 carts by myself. I obviously don't have the strength of a man. I lose feeling in my legs and hands after work, it is simply a man's job. So I was wondering with these conditions if I had a chance of changing to a different position at my store.

I currently have a Toshiba Satellite M305 Laptop (fairly new) w/ Vista, a HP Mini Netbook (for school and travel), and a 2001 Compaq Presario 5000 (which I don't use because of the lack of a monitor)

I am getting the MacBook Pro or iMac for my birthday coming up this winter...just can't decide which one.

I am leaning more towards the MacBook Pro...design and trackpad appeal to me...

but would it be more sensible to get an iMac? Because I already have 2 laptop computers and am lacking a desktop?

Tell me if they're decent quality for what I use. They are all of my friends band... I've gotten lots of compliments on the quality and then a few not so good comments. I use a Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP.

I just want to know if I should start looking for a new camera, or if this one produces good quality.

I'm looking into going to this sort of thing to make some money as I'm into going to alot of shows and supporting local bands. The videos you'll see, the singer of the band suggested to me I should start doing this for money possibly.

I refuse to go to a community college. I am starting to hate high school finally, and community college is just like high school, I want to live "campus life".

I messed up my 9th and 10th grades terribly which now (in my senior year) brings my 3 cumulative years to a whopping 2.3 GPA (77 avg.)

In my junior year, I think my GPA was around 3.3-3.4 though. I stopped slacking last year. This first marking period of my senior year my GPA will be around 3.6.

I REALLY want to go to SUNY Fredonia...

And I cant even believe I applied to Colgate...

Because I originally thought my GPA was going to be 2.7...had a slim chance there..now there's none for me...

Now my hopes for that are going down the drain...

I can't go to community college, because Im not stupid and no offense to ANYONE but whenever I think of community college I think "stupid kids".

Okay so today I was accused of plagiarism...but when I was in middle school I learned that plagiarism is copying someones work and NOT citing it...See I had a Works Cited Page with all the websites I used so I could of sworn I did not plagiarize, since I gave credit to those sites for my information. I now hate this teacher because of his accusations and his further actions against this. So what do you think?

I have 23.75 credits and my school requires 24 to graduate. BUT, NYS requires 22....The counselor said that the principal can sign something because I'm only .25 short, and NYS only requires 22. There's no way they can fit another class in my schedule to make me earn .25 credit. Can I graduate?

1.)Do you have the new iPod nano? or did you order one when it came out on September 9th or 10th or whatever. If you ordered it, was yours shipped yet?

2.)This is not really a question, just stating a fact. Do you know it took me from 3PM to 10PM (now) to sync everything back on my iPod Touch after I had to restore it. Wow 7 hours of my life dedicated to my iPod.

I am taking 3 AP classes this year.

My grades arent so great for the last 3 years-I'd say high 70's-high 80's, it's not that i'm dumb, im super lazy.
