  • please help me find my royal python!?

We noticed him missing this morning, but my son said he noticed the cage was open yesterday but didn't say anything. We live in a 3 bed house in the uk, there is no access to the chimney as it is blocked off and we have looked under kitchen units, and settee's etc. I know they tend to go somewhere dark and warm but we are out of ideas. Has anyone got any brainwaves about where else we could look. Please Help! Thanks

  • Is is normal to feel soooo tired?

This is my fourth child, so I am pretty used to pregnancy. However I have never felt this exhausted before. I have my partner at home full time so it's not because I'm running around afer the other three kids. I don't work. It doesn't seem to matter if I sleep well or not, from the moment I wake up in the morning I feel like a zombie! All I can think about is getting some more sleep. Some days i manage to have a nap in the afternoon and that helps for a bit but, after a couple of hours I'm back to feeling exhausted again. I'm only 6 weeks and I don't know how I'm going to cope if this continues. I don't suffer from morning sickness as such, although I do feel queesy most of the time, but I am eating regularly to try and keep my energy levels up. What else can I do? I read somewhere that if you are carrying twins you wil experience more severe symptoms, so I wondered if that could be why. I don't know if I am having twins or not but I thought it would be a possible explanation.

  • Need to stop breastfeeding my 14 month old, any advice?

I have just found out that I am pregnant again and, I don't fancy tandem feeding so I now ant to stop feeding my toddler. He has two feeds a day, morning and evening, but he also will come to me sometimes for comfort if he hurts himself. He doesn't have any comfort blanket or dummy so I don't know what he will use for comfort. He probably would take a dummy if offered but he is the only child we have had that doesn't have one and I don't want to start now! Any tips, anything you found really helped, many thanks x

  • Any doula's out there?

I would very much like to train as a doula but I have three kids and I am worried about how much I can earn as it is normally on a self employed basis. What if i don't get much work for a while, what will we survive on? My husband doesn't work, he can't earn because he has no skills and is dyslexic. Any advice/ tips would be appreciated. I would especially like to hear from doula's in the UK. THANKS

  • I have taken all my kids toys away, is this too harsh?

My 6 yr old and 4 yr old insist on messing about in the bathroom. They go in there in the night or very early in the morning and pour shampoo down the sink, play with the toilet roll, steal our toothbrushes etc. We have removed as many items as possible from the bathroom and issued various punishments, ie no pocket money, no going round friends, no bikes, etc. The behaviour stops for a couple of weeks but then it starts all over again! We are at the end of our tethers. So we decided to give them a shock, after a couple of warnings we took every single toy they own away and put them in the shed! We have told them if they behave for a week they will get one bag back, another week, another bag and so on. Do you think we are being too harsh? What do we do if this doesn't work! We have a younger boy too (14mths) who watches everthing they do and we are worried he will copy their bad behaviour also, and we will have three kids wrecking our house! It feels like we are just going under here!!

  • Looking for Snake Breeders?

We already have two cali king snakes, a red tail boa and most recently a royal python. We are absolutely in love with snakes but now we are running out of ideas as to what to get next but also would like to buy direct from a breeder instead of going to the reptile shops all the time. So if you are a breeder in the ESSEX area we would like to hear from you. What do you breed, how long have you been breeding and what have you got for sale at the moment. Thanks

My friend has three different snakes aquied at different times and they live happily together. She says that boas should be ok together. • anyone got a good remedy for fleas?

We have tried frontline spray, but my cat wouldn't stay still enough to put it on thouroughly. Tried carpet powders and sprays but nothing seems to be very effective. We are getting desperate now! My cat is due to have kittens in a few days and we don't want them to get fleas too so we need to get them dealt with! Has anyone found a particular product to be really effective and easy to use also, one of my cats is such a struggler, it's a nightmare just getting a worming tablet down her! any ideas for getting rid of them from the carpets also??

I don't feel this way about my other children and I feel really guilty. I want to look at him and remember why we wanted him and how much he means to me but I don't know how to get those feelings back.PLEASE HELP! I don't think I am a bad mother but he brings out the worst in me. Any advice would be very much appreciated. THANKS

  • Has anyone had several negative pregnancy tests and still turned out to be pregnant????

I am only three days late so maybe I am just not producing enough hormone yet but at what point do I give up? I would like to hear from any health proffesionals out there who could tell me how long from conception does the egg implant and if it takes a while would that mean that hcg levels could be still low for the first few days. I should mention that on the four occasions that I have been pregnant I have always done home tests and only ever had faint lines. One of the tests I have done in the last few days had a faint second line but it was after the ten minutes they tell you to wait. I would appreciate peoples opinions on whether I should carry on with the tests for a few more days and also story's from anyone who has had a number of negative results for the first few days after a missed peiod and then finally a positive. Thanks

  • can anyone tell me how to convert my mondeo estate into a seven seater, and if you know anywhere that does it?

i have been told that due to eec regulations you are not allowed to have booster seats in rear facing car seats, which bench seats are. so can I do it or not. what does the law say and what can they do if I go ahead and have it done regardless?
