I live in southern Arkansas where the cost of living is considerably lower than most areas in the US. I just found out that our preschool tuition is going up again (due to min. wage increase). I understand why, and I do want the people taking care of and teaching my child to be well paid. It's just getting harder and harder to keep up. My son only has one more year, but we have decided to pull him back from 5 days a week to 4 (my hubby is off on Thursdays anyway). It's $65 a month difference. I am lucky enough to be off during the summers and holidays (I am a school nurse), so he only goes during the school year. I just wonder what others would do to deal with this. Are you all having increases in childcare, and how are you cutting back to compensate? Just looking for input. Thanks.

I need to know some general guidelines for my little girl. She is 6, and enjoys doing pageants. At what age do they switch to long dresses? Hair ideas? We don't do fake hair or anything like that. We just do local pageants. Thanks for any suggestions.

My 5 year old daughter loves doing pageants, and she places almost every time. I never did them much, and I don't know how to teach her the correct way to do the turn. Can someone tell me? Any techniques for teaching the walk, turn, etc you can offer would be appreciated.

My mother will be going on our vacation with our family next summer. She needs her motorized wheelchair (scooter type) to get around large places. Are these able to get on the buses inside the park? Are there any places she won't be able to go in the parks?

I have tried Relacore (zippo results). I really need something that will suppress cravings/appetite. Any suggestions? Anybody tried something that really works?
