  • How do I secure a back pack to my passenger seat on a '09 FLHT Harley?

I am taking a trip to Colorado Springs CO. in late spring to hike Barr trail (Pikes Peak) The back pack I will be taking with me sits almost 20" higher than my passenger back rest and this is my climbing pack so I don't want to get it all bent up and stuff. Is there a product out there that will allow me to take off the passenger backrest pad and mount a sissybar extension to where the pad mounts to support my back pack? I have the quick connect system So I can't just go and buy any tall sissy bar. I know this is kind of an obscure request but somebody must have came up with something for this before.

  • Why can't I post on Yahoo news stories?

I log in and I can check mail but when I click on any news story my computer goes to the news story but I do not show as logged in on the page, when I go back to the home page I show logged in again. Is this a problem with my computer settings or Yahoo account?

  • Anyone else disappointed in the 2013 Harley line up?

First let me say that I am not a Harley basher as my main ride is a 2009 Electra-glide standard. I was looking at the 2013 line up today and there is nearly nothing changed or improved. I just wanted to see if anyone else was as let down as I was.

  • How can I stabilize my targets?

I go to an indoor shooting range and the massive exhaust system they have causes the target to move around on the cable system. I was wondering if anyone has a good trick to make up for that. I'm shooting a .223 bolt action with a quality scope so I would like to stabilize the target so I can see if I can get the bullets through the same hole or at least really close.

  • Where to find real motorcycle reviews?

Every time I do a search for reviews 90% of them are just garbage sites rehashing the stats from the manufacturers website.

  • Can I have a Rear folding bipod?

I always see bipods set up so they fold forward. Is there a reason why? If I could flip mine around to fold rearward it would actually fit in my safe better.

  • which .223 bolt action or single shot would be considered top of the line for varmint/ target competition?

I would prefer something in stainless and accurate enough that the rifle will always be a better shot than I am.

  • scoping a colt AR-15?

I have a Colt AR-15 Hbar. I would like to put a scope on it. My question is do I need to put on a low profile gas block to replace my front sight? I've looked around on the internet and there seems to be mixed answers on this subject. Some people say you don't see the front site, others say the view is brighter and clearer with the sight removed.

  • Are there any other super bike races on tv besides motoGP?

People at work have told me of other super bike races on tv but I can't ever seem to find them. Sadly super bike racing doesn't seem to be big in the states. I would rather watch that than nascar any day.

  • Does anybody else think The biggest mistake Harley ever made was not making Eric Buell their lead engineer?

I have a bagger (FLHT) and I do love it but outside of the touring line I don't see anything worth having in the rest of their line. I think eric would have taken them in a better direction as opposed to doing the same thing with minor tweaks year after year.

  • how to stop a work place bully?

I am not being threatened physically but this same person constantly degrades me and insults me every chance he can. I have complained to my bosses about it but nothing has changed. Is their something I can say to this person to warn him that he is only a couple insults from getting a hammer in the back of his head without actually threatening him? I don't mean to sound crazy but I am really done with this jerk.

  • Increasing displacement on a Harley.?

Has anyone gone from the 96" to the 103 or 110? If so was it worth the cost? I am referring to a bike with fuel injection and stage one already done. Thanks

  • What large motorcycle offers the best mix of long range comfort and exhilaration on shorter rides?

I have a HD Electraglide and while it is fun and I can do 600 mile days with only mild discomfort it doesn't have that pull you off your seat acceleration. Does anyone know if a Goldwing or the Concourse-14 can serve both of these functions?

  • Honda Goldwing VS. HD electraglide?

I own a Harley Davidson electraglide and I really do like it. A few days ago I was at the bike shop and sat on a new GL1800 with ABS. I was pretty impressed with it even though I didn't get to take it for a ride. Could I get some opinions from people who have ridden both. Thanks. Please no HD haters I just want real opinions.

  • Is lane splitting safe?

Lane splitting is not legal where I live but even if it was I don't think I would do it. All it would take is one person getting mad that you're cutting in line to open a door or pinch you into another car and your day is ruined. Does anyone do this on a regular basis and get away with it?

  • Do loud pipes actually save lives?

Last year not a week would go by where someone would try to lane change into me on the interstate. At the start of this riding season I put some V&H slip ons on my electra-glide standard and that has not happened once. I have never been one to hover in peoples blind spot. The only thing different is the pipes. How do people against aftermarket pipes explain this away?

  • Screamin' Eagle Heavy Breather Performance Air Cleaner?

Does anyone have this? I was thinking about getting this instead of the SE low profile breather just for the better air flow but it looks like it would be in the way of your right leg all of the time. Is that the case or does it not stick out that far?

  • Does HID lighting make a bike safer?

I already ordered an HID headlight kit for my FLHT because I believe it would make a bike even more noticeable than loud pipes. I have lost a couple of friends over the years to douche bags making a left in front of them. Just wanted to see if anyone using HID has seen any difference in being seen.
