Hi, my name is Paul, im 25 and a student (straight) nurse from Eastbourne. I have been a christian for 6 years and have an amazing life! I love to travel, with aims of hitting three countrys a year whilst i study and one day intend on emigration. Not sure where yet. Unfortunatly im single at the moment. People describe me as shy at first but a laugh as i warm up, honest (sometimes to much so) and a boundary pusher. I cant judge whether im fit or not but i dont tend to have much trouble attracting girls, especially as a shy person! So, in a nut shell (well actually a small detached house) that is me.

  • Created watch, fluked planet?

If i were to say, the watch on my wrist was NOT designed, built, set in motion and even sustained (ie through inserting a battery) by a creator but instead came into exsistance when, in a lab somewhere, someone created a vacum and nothing hit nothing and suddenly appeared a watch that not only fits perfectly onto a wrist but also tells the time accurately for upto a 5 years, you would say i was nuts.

Yet, on tv yesterday, the presenter implied that anyone who believed in creationism must be a little dim.

Whats appears to be more logical; that the watch was not designed and created, but rather 'fluked', OR that the entire world and everything in it (including the being that created the watch) was fluked, not created?

Interesting thought... Got any thoughts on it?

  • Lets get to know each other a bit................?

If you could ban just one thing, what would it be?

I would probably ban people that drive slower than 40 on a 60 road as its just plain irratating!

  • The cost of Fuel/Gas/petrol/diesel/whatever you call it?

My American friends are all moaning about the cost of fuel and i really cant understand why. In England we pay around $11 a gallon (being that a dollar is worth around 55p [100p makes one pound] and that there is roughly 4.2 litres in a gallon) making us the most expensive place for fuel anywhere in the world.

How much does fuel cost in your country?

  • Elections?

Just out of curiosity, for those that voted for any other party than Labour, was it because the other party is, in your opinion, 'better' or just because Labour has been so poor (and not to mention, the reason i didnt vote for them, so expensive, 70p a litre of tax on fuel and you expect to win?)?

If it is because Labour have been so poor, does that leave us stuck somewhere between a rock and a hard place?

Did anyone vote for a party actually thinking they were a good party?

The reason i ask is that it seems all the parties do is point out the other parties weaknesses, not their own strengths?

  • First Date Nerves?

    Ladies, please help me!

Im going on a date tonight for the first time in over a year; tragic story, i know. Im 25 and this stunning (and very traditional) girl is 31, and im as nervous as jelly in london during the earthquake.

Can anyone give me any tips? Not where to go or anything as thats all booked, but things like... flowers? Is a kiss to far with a traditional girl?

Ive never been nervous before and always get female attention so i dont know why i am now, but any pointers will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks :)

  • Payments to 'behave'?

The government now wants to pay people to behave and go to school or the dentist (if you can find one i assume). Is this a stupidly soft idea? Is Camerons idea about banning payments for badly behaved people or the long term unemployed to harsh?

It seems we have a situation where 50% of the population think conservatives are to harsh and 50% that think labour are to soft?

What do you think would be a good solution to our anti social society?

Personally i love the Torries idea of withholding payments or forcing people into work and i certainly dont think its the same as 'community serivce' like some have suggested. You dont get paid for community service, but you carry on recieving benifits under the conservatives scheme.

Can i also say i normally vote labour!

What are your views? How could we sort out our countrys issues in a way that pleases the majority?

  • Football V Rugby, the number one sport?

Based mainly on performance, is it time that Rugby became Englands number one sport rather than football?

Out of the last few international matches i know which sport i have found more entertaining... which is the main purpose of sport in the the first place.

    What do you think?

  • Why white, why not 'normal' colour?

This is going to sound like a very random question but why is some animal (mainly dogs) poo white and not brown? Is it just me that finds this wierd? Its not consitantly white, just on the very rare occasion!

  • I want to take up a new sport, which one is best?

I already swim 2 miles a week and at least once a week i go walking on the south downs. I have recently started Scuba diving, which is great but to expensive to do regularly and even rarer, i do play golf maybe 4 or 5 times a year. So those sports are out.

Im at uni 40 hours a week as well and sundays are to full with church and work to do any sports on that day.

What sports do you do? Why would you recommend them to me?

  • Woman, do you find it attractive....?

If a man can dance very well. As in real dancing, such as Jive or modern, not shuffling on a club dancefloor! Does being a good dancer make you think he may be homosexual?

  • Ice Caps and Science?

Scientist are in the Artic researching how rapidly Ice Caps are breaking up. Why then would they use a ship, designed specifically for the task of breaking Ice, to get there?

Wouldnt a Husky be more environmentally friendly and i could be wrong, but i dont think a Husky would break the ice quite like an icebreaker ship!

  • Commitment issues maybe?

Im having a relationship with a girl who i really like. We are friends as well as boy and girlfriends and we get on great. Im not into sleeping around and i cant stand people who cheat so 'playing the field' isnt the issue. Ive also been single for a few years and in the latter stage of these years have desired a relationship.

So now after 3 years of singleness i find a great girl who i want to be with, yet am always thinking of ways to break things off.

Im not aware of a fear of commitment, but whats going on, why am i looking for ways to be single again?
