New RV owner toilet clog troubleshooting: black tank is full, and yet it s hooked up to the local sewage system, what do I do?
I bought this 2007 starwood fifth wheel two weeks ago, and I can t seem to figure out if it is clogged because it is full and I need to empty it, or if it empties to the sewage system automatically and there s a blockage I need to take care of.
While I was using the right dissolvable toilet paper, I m pretty sure I haven t been using the proper amount of water to flush waste.
I hadn t checked the sensor until today, and it says the black water tank is full. I love learning about this stuff the hard way.
I ve added boiling water to the toilet (which is about to overflow, but with water/number 1, it s not gushing it just won t flush), but I m hesitant to try other solutions like:
Pressurized water hose for tank cleaning (something I ll invest in but will probably make a mess right now)
A big stick (what if I damage something down there? or back it up more?)
Plunger? Would that even work?
I would really love to not have to put on a rubber suit to deal with this.
4 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs5 years agoWhy are many of the questions in R&S directed at either atheists or Christians?
Are most people simply not interested in what non-Christians, non-athesists think about the world?
Do you think that it is acceptable to answer these questions even if you are not in the questioned group?
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat is your opinion on this Thomas Paine quote?
"Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one."
Do you think it is accurate, even in today's world? Or do you completely disagree? Include any thoughts you have on the subject.
It would also be cool if you could include any political affiliations you have, if you have any, i.e: Republican or Conservative, Democrat or Liberal, Independent, or any others.
Thanks!
15 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoIn your mind, how compatible are science and religion?
Whether you're an atheist or a fundamentalist or anything in between or off to the side or... anything, do you think you can respect both science and religion and still make sense?
Religion doesn't always mean Christianity, keep that in mind.
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHow do you justify abortion?
I don't mean to accuse, but I would like to get some perspective on such a controversial issue. It would be helpful if you could include in your answer when you belief life, or consciousness starts. Thanks!
26 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat is the difference between Tarot Cards and Oracle Cards?
As in, are they used in the same way? For example, could I use the Celtic Cross spread with my Goddess Oracle set? Also, someone told me that you cannot read yourself with the Tarot, but you can with the Oracle set. Is this correct? Thanks for the advice, please no negative comments.
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoCan I keep my political beliefs while on my Wiccan path? I feel like I'm being torn between two worlds. Help?!?
I was raised a Methodist Christian. As such, I have pretty solid ideas about what it actually going on in the world and how the government should be handling it. For example, I believe that global warming is not a result of man; it is a result of the normal patterns of nature.
But, Goddess, I LOVE Wicca. It is the only religion I've ever connected to and it has opened my eyes to so many new possibilities in my life. I've always loved nature but I have a newer, deeper respect for it because of Wicca. I'm more active in everything and I legitimately LOVE my life sooo much more than I ever have.
I've tried to connect Wiccan ideas of free will with the idea that the federal government shouldn't butt its nose into everything, but pamphlets I found at my local pagan supplier are really, really, really.. well... liberal. There's an entire section about the global warming "threat".
How can I even begin to justify these polar opposite lifestyles?! Maybe I'm overreacting, but I've been raised to believe that political ideals are extremely important. I can't just abandon an entire part of me, but I refuse to stop following Wicca.
I asked the Goddess how I could find wholeness in this situation, and she clearly signaled that I have to find peace within myself before I try to sort out this whole mess... but I'm having a ton of trouble doing that. Any advice, suggestions, thoughts, etc would be extremely helpful...
Please no.. idk, negative comments about Wicca or, i guess, conservatives. Thank you sooo much!
Blessed Be.
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoA Sweet 16 night out with you're friends? Or over $400 worth of clothes?
My sweet 16 is coming up kinda soon. I've pretty much already decided to take a limo into the city and have dinner with about 6 friends, and then the day after I'll have a mildly casual party at my house involving about 20-30 people, with a bunch of pizza and cake. The thing is, I'm paying for most of the limo and dinner myself, and I've worked hard busing tables for the money. If it were you, would you cancel the limo-dinner and just have the house party, and buy yourself a bunch of [extremely needed] new clothes? Or would you keep the dinner and have a fun night out, paying for everyone's dinner?
Other details to consider:
I've asked my friends if they would pay for their own dinner, but they pretty much refused. I completely understand, and anyway, dividing up the bill would be a huge pain.
The limo deal were getting is really great. It's $45 per person, with the meal included, for four hours. The place is really nice too.
I already told my friends about the dinner. Oops. Still want your opinion, though.
Thanks!
6 AnswersFriends1 decade agoIs it possible to do the feathered peacock pose [Pinca-Mayurasana] without the aid of a wall or partner?
In most instructions I've read, this pose requires a wall or a partner to stabilize the inversion. When I first heard about this pose, it became my goal in yoga to get to the level where I could do it easily, but I had always imagined it without an aid. When I started to read the instructions, I was disappointed. But then I looked up images and http://images.teamsugar.com/files/users/1/12981/39... , so it seems like it's possible. How would you work up to doing it without an aid?

1 AnswerPhotography1 decade agoIf you're writing an essay, and the prompt says a statement and then asks you to assess the validity of the...?
statement, what do you start the essay with? The statement in quotes? Or do you assume, since the reader is the teacher, that she already knows it? Or do you say something profound and then state the statement? I'm having major confusion with how to begin the introductory paragraph. The statement is "throughout the colonial period, economic concerns had more to do with the settling of British North America than did religious concerns", if that helps

Can't ask my dad for help, he's not home and doesn't have his cell phone. Also, I'm hoping I can make the printer work without his help so that maybe he'll let me keep it connected to the family computer instead of his laptop.
1 AnswerPrinters1 decade agoWhy is my xbox 360 wireless adapter light red?
I've had a lot of problems trying to get on xbox live wirelessly (before i just used a cable). About a year ago a bought an adapter, and plugged it into the console. It didn't light up. We took the adapter back to the store and they gave us a new one. We tried it again, and it didn't light up. So we sent the xbox in and they sent us a completely new xbox. All of this has taken awhile, and it's been about a year and now were trying the adapter with the new xbox. Now it's just red, and I still can't get internet. I threw away the receipt a long time ago, and I'm not spending a hundred dollars for a small white box that probably only took three dollars to make.
