We recently moved into our own home. My husbands father asked if he could throw us a housewarming party and we agreed, but when his grandma said to make a registry, I was confused. I didn't realize it was a gift-giving ordeal and I feel tacky making a registry. We bought a lot of what we need. What we really need now is like curtains, a new table, a new bedset, a crib set for our son. Stuff we would obviously not ask others for and would truly prefer to pick out ourselves. Do we register for those items and let people know we have a registry only if they ask? Or just tell people not to bring gifts? Ask for a dish to pass instead? Ask for just a card? People keep asking what to bring, what we need, etc and I'm not sure what to tell them

I'm 20 weeks pregnant and I had my gallbladder removed two weeks ago. I feel totally fine and I'm back to my normal life other than lifting anything too heavy. It's over 100 degrees here and I just want to go swimming, but I don't see my surgeon for the post-op for a few more days. I didn't have the steri-strips, just some plastic glue over the four incisions, which a lot of that has come off on it's own. The small parts of the incision that show from the glue that's come off look healed up. The pool is our own, not a public pool, so we know it's totally clean and everything. My surgeon's office is closed so I can't call and ask, think it would be all good to swim?

I'm an author, and I'm currently stuck in this area of my current work. Don't worry, I'm not trying to con some poor guy into staying with me! Lol. My main character, Jack, is stuck between Haley, his current girlfriend, and Stella, the girl he is having an affair with. He wants to leave Haley to be with Stella, but, Haley does something or says something that makes him have to/feel obligated to stay with her, even though he doesn't want to and doesn't feel love for her anymore, causing him to lose Stella.

I'm just not sure what that thing Haley says/does should be. I want to avoid pregnancy if possible, as they are younger people who would not need to deal with having children in the mix. What is something that would make you stay with someone if you were in Jack's situation? Thanks so much.

Some unforeseen circumstances have caused me to want to move out of my current house with my cat, dog and my rabbit. My roommate has a bad temper and has been verbally and physically abusive to me, and has yelled at my animals, threatened them, but has never hurt them (although, I fear they will) all in the last day or so. It may seem ridiculous, but I don't feel comfortable staying where I am and I don't feel comfortable leaving my animals behind with this person, even for just a few days. I intend to go stay with family, but only for a few days until I find a more permanent solution. Is it going to hurt my bunny to be moved so much? She's in a cage, so all of her stuff would be right there with her and everything. Anything I can do to make it easier? I just don't want the rabbit to get so stressed and die or something, it would break my heart. (PS, I know the cat and dog are gonna be alright, we've moved before, but it's the rabbit I'm concerned about as I've only had it about four months.)

I'm asking this more for my husband, who is much more concerned than I am. His video games are right next to her cage, so he witnesses the behavior more than I do. She will randomly jump, sometimes right out of her sleep/rest, and sometimes while shaking her head. He is convinced she has fleas, as our cat has had some before, and he thinks it appears as though she's jumping because she's getting bitten by fleas. She does itch sometimes, but not obsessively and not enough to cause any raw spots or anything. I brushed through her, and looked at her nose/face/ears, and I don't see any fleas, black specs, or scabs/scaling. I don't think she has fleas, I think she's just bored and trying to have some fun, because she's also biting her cage and toys. Any suggestions what she could be doing? Or a way to tell if she has fleas? She's fairly new to our home, so she's not super comfortable with us handling her yet to inspect her very closely. PS, if she does have fleas, is a small animal flea spray (ultracare is the brand) safe to use on her?

Here's what it boils down to: the new CAS and home-building are really what draws me to TS4, and I wonder if those things make this game with all of it's missing aspects worth it. I spend most of my time creating my sims and their home, I play with that family one time, and the next time I play Sims I make new sims and a new house. In TS3 I don't tend to have my sims go many places, so I don't know if the load-screens and no cars would bother me much. No open worlds and inability to play sims who are out AND the ones at home is the main issue I have with TS4, but I think I'd get over it eventually. Toddlers are another thing I'd miss but due to how annoying it is to have to teach them a bunch, I think I could deal. It seems like the missing aspects are ones I didn't use too much, so I think I'd be okay. But maybe these things would bother me more than I think, you tell me.

I just think if I buy the base game now, it won't cost so much later as I won't have to buy the BG and expansions at the same time. I always wait for the BG to get cheaper but by then EP have come out and I struggle to buy a bunch of EP at the same time. I'm still getting some for TS3.

If I'm gonna spend $60, is it worth it to buy TS4 or should I just keep adding to TS3?

I got a new rabbit on Friday. Never owned one before, but she wasn't being well taken care of (dirty, matted fur, not fed well) so I took her home. Didn't hold her the first day we got her, as instructed. Only fed her the food that came in the "Starter kit" and some hay. Yesterday (Sunday), I noticed she still hadn't eaten much food(only hay). But, I fed her two sticks of carrot, a small piece of a sweet potato treat, and a small piece of a rice treat. I went back to the pet store to get new bedding and a brush, noticed that the food we got in the starter kit wasn't the same as she's used to, so I got her regular food pellets, and she ate all of that. She's drank a lot, had a few licks on the salt wheel, and has chewed on the wood chew stick. I've also held her twice, brushed her once, cut off the bedding that was matted in her fur, changed her bedding once, and let a few family members hold her. She's been introduced to our cat but they just sniffed each other. I woke up this morning and she has diarrhea, which I heard can be really bad. She's eating fine and not acting lethargic but is laying down once in a while. The vet I regularly take my other pet to is not open until Tuesday. Should she go to the vet or not? If so, does she need to go now or should I wait until Tues? I discontinued all wet food and only gave her food pellets and hay this morning. I'm not sure if it was all of the new foods that caused it, if it's just stress, or what. Any advice?

I'm having a little dilemma with my wedding dress. The dress has a huge train. A good couple feet behind me. I love the train, and I want it down for the ceremony, and I have someone to carry my train down the isle. But, there's no way I'll be able to walk around and dance at the reception. Obviously I don't want to have to have someone walking around behind me the whole time. And I don't want to have to carry it around while I try to enjoy my wedding. I don't want to take it to a seamstress if I don't have to. I already went over budget. I'm decent at sewing. I was thinking about putting a loop on so I can hold it with my wrist. Or a button and a loop to just put it up. Is there any better quick thing I could do to hold the train just for the reception?

So my little sister just got a new laptop, it's a refurbished one but my dad wiped it clean and put in all of the basics. Microsoft office, internet explorer, google chrome, security essentials, java, ect. So, I just downloaded minecraft in it. No mods, no forge, no texture packs, nothing. Just plain minecraft. Well, the launcher loads but when she clicks Play, it comes up with a crash report. It won't let her get on. I've deleted/uninstalled minecraft and reinstalled it a few times, but it does the same thing every time. Does anyone know why? How do I fix it?

I want to start working out and maybe loose some weight. I really want to tone up my stomach area. I'm a 17 year old girl. 5'3'' and about 115-120lbs. I'm not really fat or anything, but I have some pudge that just looks awkward in anything I wear. What's the best way to get a flatter/toned stomach and loose some weight?

Pretty much I have extreme back pain. Well, upper back and shoulder area. Any time I'm sitting or standing for too long, laying in the same position for too long, or move my arms or head very much my back kills. It's really unbearable. Once in a while, I'll have days where my muscles burn like I've just been working out. I'm a dancer, so I stretch a lot, so I don't think it's stiff muscles. My hands and arms will also fall asleep at random times. I've had tons of X-rays. I know there's no breaks of fractures. The only thing I can think of is maybe the fact that my bag is so heavy. So, has anyone ever experienced this? Any clue to what it might be?

I'm 17. Haven't done a jazz solo since I was 13. Or any jazz for that matter. I want something up beat and fun, kind of advanced because this is my 10th year dancing. Preferably something from the radio, pop music. Like I said, I'm 17, so I want something mature but still competition appropriate. Thanks!

I've been vlogging on my youtube channel for a while. But now I'm looking for something a little smaller (I have an actual video camera so it's pretty bulky). Like a little rectangle one that fits in your pocket. My boyfriend wants to start a channel where both of us vlog so we need another camera. I want to spend less than 100$ if possible, but want decent quality video. Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm 17, and I dance. I was trying to master an elbow stand and fell out of it, landing directly on my neck and it really hurt my neck and upper back. I'm JUST returning to dance after years of back injury. Anyway, it still really hurts. Breathing and moving my head hurts. I'm feeling slightly dizzy and am having a little bit of trouble typing,, cause I keep having to retype words cause of misspelling. But that could just be cause I'm worried and shaken up from falling. Usually I wouldn't be worried but this really does/did hurt. I've been injured a lot so usually pain doesn't bother me. SO yeah, should I be worried? It's 1am here and I really don't wanna have to go to the er or anything. :/

Looking for a good multiplayer server. I just wanna build my house, maybe do some mining. I would like it if there were no hostile mobs. Or maybe if they're only in caves, but any minecraft server will work. Sick of getting griefed so.

Yesterday, my mom and I found a kitten in our mailbox. Someone had abandoned it. Well, she is estimated to be four weeks old. Her eyes are open, she walks fine. She plays. She eats fine. sleeps a lot. But she hasn't gone to the bathroom all day today. I've tried stimulating her and it hasn't been working. Do you think she's okay?

At about 9AM my neighbor paid me 5$ to keep an eye on her 1 year old for an hour. She said she'd be back by 10AM. She left him no diapers, wipes, or extra clothes. She didn't tell me what he could or couldn't eat. Nothing. It's now 9PM and she hasn't been back. I had to pay my sister 20$ to watch this kid while I went to buy him some diapers and wipes (I didn't have a car seat with me so I obviously couldn't just take him). I'm 17. I've tried calling her, no answer. Tried texting her, no answer. And so I've been over to her house multiple times, and no one has been home all day. What should I do? I leave on a class trip at 1AM today, I seriously should be sleeping already! My mom should be getting home from work at 11 so she can watch him then. I told this woman I had the trip and so I couldn't watch him all day. I've never babysat him before, I don't really know too much about her or the baby, she kinda just started showing up the past few weeks out of no where and then leaves me with her child. I was just trying to be nice and help her out while she took her other son to the doctors. Please someone tell me what to do.. I usually only babysit my siblings, ages 8 and 9. Thanks!

Hi. So today I took half of a Percocet (which were prescribed to me. Just saying) But its my first time ever taking it. And it made me throw up. So I'm not going to take it again. I'll just take 400mg of Advil. I took the Percocet about four hours ago, when is it save to take the Advil? Thanks.
