What are these plastic pellets coming out of my hot tub / spa jets?
Whenever I turn on my hot tub jets, small bb-like pellets come out. They appear to be plastic and they don't dissolve. They are also not all uniform in size. The hot tub is a few years old, but I am the new owner (it came with my house). Any insight would be great!

The man then wanted my info so we could talk about "supplementing my income". He didn't give me any details, but I did give him my email address. I'm 95% sure this is a scam or a pyramid scheme. Has anyone had a similar experience to confirm my suspicion?
