What kind of metal is caps of beer bottles made of?

and is it recyclable?

    molded tin basically , its steel and pays like 1cent a pound.

    It is made of steel and steel can be recycled but you probably wouldnt want to put it in with the aluminum items..

    Steel mostly,if it sticks to a magnet , it's steel. If it doesn't stick ,it's aluminum and recycleable.

    Coated steel, I believe. Got a magnet? It's not aluminum.
