  • HELP! Need faster way to get FACEBOOK to remove altered photos with porn or gun threats?

    * Already tried reporting individual photos and pages and albums

    * Already filled out and submitted forms with the links that violate Facebook policy

    * On one complaint of gun images as 'death threats' - received a response asking for courts docs and to go through lawyers and law enforcement

Which of these ways will get Facebook to remove a photo of a private citizen, altered with porn or gun images as a death threat? Which way will get the reported photos removed IMMEDIATELY (instead of waiting for law enforcement or court orders)?? Has ANYONE had any luck, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE??

  • Good religious studies/theology program with dissertation?

Help! I'm looking for a correspondence or Houston program for Religious Studies/Theology, both Masters/PhD. I found $4000 1 year Doctor of Divinity course by correspondence (67 hours) but it's not accredited. Other Masters programs have prerequisites I don't have (I have a B.A. in Math/Art with 1 philosophy course and no history/religion/political science).

Would like a program that is dissertation based, where research is into proving the universality of God by reconciling different denominations and religions on an agreed interpretation of scriptures that is consistent with all traditions. Would like to work with scholars in Christianity, Buddhism, Islam and Constitutional studies especially regarding church/state law and religious freedom. I would like to be accredited to teach at a community college level.

Can anyone recommend an academic institution or counselor I might consult with to find a suitable program? Help!

  • Help! I'm stuck (Buddhist-Christian question)?

How would you resolve this conflict in perception between Buddhism and Christianity:

I told the head of a campus Christian fellowship that Buddhism was not against Christ. There are ways to teach correctly where Buddhists can receive Jesus, instead of mutual rejection. Where he got stuck was the concept of Nirvana as "nothingness" that the purpose of Buddhism was to extinguish the soul. I tried to explain this means complete selflessness, as Christianity teaches to empty our cup that we may be filled. We must depart from false material attachment or false desires of the "flesh" before we can live by spiritual values. So the concept is not against Christianity.

How would you explain this where it makes sense to a Christian?

  • Why won't my answer post and view?

My profile shows a question I answered listed under "Answers" but when I go to view it, it doesn't show my answer. One page states "64 answers," and the page I can view states "60". Was my question too long or was it cut off from the page and doesn't show up? There were two other answers that were longer than mine. Please advise.

  • Police shooting deaths in 2006?

I'm writing an editorial and need stats on

    * the number of police-related shooting deaths in 2006

across the U.S. (or in Houston, Texas, if available)

    * the number of police officers shot and killed in the line of duty

across the U.S. and in Houston only.

I sympathize with those who have lost loved ones on both sides of police-related fatalities, in calling for a combined coalition to promote law enforcement without violence, for the sake of both officers' and public safety. Any websites or statistics available?

  • Wireless Internet Service? Houston Texas?

I saw an ad on TV for a cheap Wireless service, but didn't write down the 1-800 number. At our duplex in Houston, TX, we don't have a phone line, and need to get a Wireless Internet Service and Router. What company offers the cheapest service? Since we lost our phone service, if it comes included in a bundle, that would be good, but is not necessary. If Router is not included in the costs, what is the cheapest/best quality for the money? Thank you!
