How likely am I to see a tarantula while in Joshua Tree park?
I will be there September 24-27. Do they go into hotel rooms or are they pretty much only in the desert? And while hiking how likely am I to see them running around?

I know some places will not allow you to reenter if you've already left but this is going to be an all day event. Are they expecting people to stay in the stadium for the entire thing and through bands that they have no interest in seeing? It doesn't make sense.

Every year around this time I get these creepy white spiders infeseting my car. They make these cocoon like webs in the cracks between my door and my car. They really freak me out and I panic when I see them so I'm afraid I'll get into an accident. They only seem to come out at night. I would do some research on this, but I can't even deal with looking at pictures of spiders. Does anyone know what they are (this is NJ)? What can I do to prevent them from nesting in my car?
