  • What is Galveston Island Wrestling?

    http://z10.invisionfree.com/GALVESTON2010/index.ph...

Galveston Island Wrestling is a place where having fun is just as important as the roleplaying aspects of the game. We take great pride in the competitive matches and outstanding out of character community that has developed as a result of this idea and would love for you to be a part of it.

Our fed is set up in an easy to understand way; one weekly show on Thursday Nights, and a Supershow or an iPPV about once every six weeks on Sunday to ensure that there will never be long stretches of time when you don't have to RP, and also to make sure that you wont have to crank out two RPs in the span of a week. That is not fun.

One very interesting part of Galveston Island Wrestling is that results are 100% planned and composed by the administrators and the moderators, meaning you have no clue what will happen come show time, adding to the surprise. We do allow member input, and we love to hear storyline ideas, but we will try to change them up so that you have to wait to find out what will happen with your character on the show. You will not have to turn in weekly segments, those will be written by the administrators.

It's an amazing e-fed, with amazing people. If you're a passionate RPer or want to begin trying it out, GIW is the best thing out there for you!

    See you there ;)

  • How can a student move from Canada to Norway for work and school?

I'm a highschool student in grade 12, I want to move to Norway for post secondary and mainly work once I've finished school. I have a friend who lives in Norway who's the same age, and he's moving out next year and is going to go to post secondary school as well.

I've always wanted to travel, and I've been told Norway is a really cool and nice place. I've heard it's expensive - but the jobs pay a lot. I don't know what career I want to get into, I just want to have a comfortable living; That's why I think moving in with my friend would be a good idea. I don't speak any Norwegian (I'll end up learning it when the time comes) but I'm told it doesn't matter since 90 percent of the population speaks English anyways.

What are the qualifications that I need to live there and go to school there? Should I finish post secondary here in Canada before moving to Norway? How can I, a Canadian Citizen, legally live and work in Norway?

    Thanks!

  • Who is better, Mason Raymond or Milan Lucic and why?

I am having a debate with friends right now. I'm saying Milan Lucic is better than Mason Raymond, but they deny it. I give out different reasons why Milan Lucic is more skilled, and better. But they come back with Raymond's speed and deking skills.

Can someone give me some of Lucic's strong points and how he is more skilled than Mason Raymond please?

  • What's a good music video to do a cover of?

For my Film & Production class at school, my group and I have to make our own version of a music video of our choice. We all have had some ideas, but our teacher has shot them down.

So does anyone know of any good music videos that would be easy and fun to attempt to recreate?

If you do, Can you post the name of the song, who sings it, and a youtube link to the music video. And if you can, can you post a simple description on what that music video shows so it would be easier for us to understand it. Thanks !!

Hi . I'm writing a speech for my English class. My English teacher made us pick a topic out of a hat, and I picked "Boys & Girls should be segregated in school" . Meaning, I'm suppose to make a two minute speech about how Boys and Girls should be separated when it comes to school.

I have no ideas on how to go about this . Could someone give me some ideas on how Boy & Girl segregation in school is a good thing so I can get some ideas ? Thanks !!
