I was watching the Mets-Phillies on MLB.TV and the Philly TV announcers made me want to take a nap. It made me realize how great the Met duo of Cohen and Darling/Hernandez are. Who do you think the best announcing team in baseball is?

Part 2:

After listening to Michael Kay and John Sterling for years, I have realized that being a "homer" is no longer looked down upon when it comes to announcers. More recently while watching the Nats, I noticed that they were actually rooting for he Nats, they didn't even try and hide it either. So the question is, are announcer expected to be bipartisan anymore? They used to act as a neutral party, but now it seems like they cater to the team that signs their paychecks.

The Mets have the perfect blend of extremely talented young players, veterans who have the playoff experience and a stacked farm system. Will they be the next dynasty in baseball?

The Montreal Canadiens of 1956-60 won 5 in a row, and more recently the Islanders from 1980-83 won 4 in a row. Will the salary cap prevent this from happening ever again? If so, is this a good or bad thing?

I know HBO does their original shows in cycles. After entourage is over, does anyone know what the next original show is going to be? If it is something i don't like i will cancel it and subscribe to Starz b/c they have much better movies.

As a Met fan, I naturally don't understand Yankee fans. What does A-Rod have to do in order to gain the favor of the fans? Give the man a break, all he's done is put of herculian numbers and win an MVP award. Not to mention that after all this abuse he'll probably go into the HOF in a Yankee Cap. Mussina hasn't won a World Series or a Cy Young award in a Yankee uniform, yet all of you kiss his feet. Has anyone thought that booing him only causes him to make these errors?
