  • Can I delete my profile from my PS3 but keep the digital games?

I'm thinking of selling my ps3 so I want to delete all my personal data, but I figure it will be worth more if I can leave some of the games on the HDD. Is there a way I can do this?

  • Trouble with Windows 7 hotkey.?

Lately my right mouse button on my laptop hasn't been working properly. I've tried to use the hotkey Shift+F10, but Shift+F10 doesn't work. Other hotkeys work fine, but I fear I might be left without a way to right click soon if I don't sort this out. Any ideas?

  • Can you suggest some PS4 games?

I've been thinking about buying a PS4 but I've looked up a few sites now to see what the games are like and very, very few appeal to me. I'm not interested in the PSN games, I'm not really a fan of fantasy games, and I don't like first person shooters.

Games I like are The Walking Dead (I have on ps3), pretty much all the modern Telltale games I like on ps3, The Last of Us (ps3), Red Dead Redemption (ps3), Heavy Rain (ps3), GTA V (ps3), Mortal Kombat 9 (ps3), WRC (ps3).

The only reason I can see at the moment to get a PS4 is Mortal Kombat X, but I'm not going to shell out 250+ for the machine and another 60 for the game. And I'm not going to buy the machine just to play remastered or better graphic versions of the games I already have on ps3.

Should I wait another year? Based on the games I mentioned is there anything you can recommend that I might like?

    Is this a virus?

The pane on the left opened up after booting up and the PC was left idle for about 30 mins. I hadn't even opened a web browser yet. I'm not with Verison, they don't even operate in my country. I've never heard of akamai.net until now. Anyone know what this is?

  • Can't get my TV to work properly with PS3?

The TV I'm using was given to me by my sister, so I'm not familiar with how it works yet. It's a Phillips 32pfl5206h/12.

I'm using the regular component cables that come standard with the PS3. The picture appears black and white (although strangely when I took a pic with my phone they came out coloured) with wavy lines and it all appears very grainy. When I had my old TV (really old crt) this would happen too but I pressed the AV button to remove it. With this TV I have no idea how get the same effect, I've searched the manual and menus but to no avail. Please help me.

  • What is the effect of this under relativity?

If we had a pressure sensitive mat, with a stop watch attached, and when pressure is applied to the mat, the stop watch will stop running. And we put this mat at the bottom of a very tall building. Now, if we had a pressure sensitive bowling ball or something, with an identical stop watch, and we synchronised the watches and dropped the ball from the building. It will obviously land on the mat, if we've calculated for wind strength etc. Thereby stopping the watches on both mat and ball. My question is, will the times on both watches be different? And would it be different by much? Are we talking about 1sec off or 0.000001 seconds off for example?

What if the watches are connected to each other, like wifi or something, so that they both keep the exact same time? Will one watch be messed up or will they both just keep the same time?

  • Antimalware program changed firefox setting to never accept cookies, how can I fix this?

I've uninstalled the antimalware software but I'm prevented from commenting on YouTube unless I go to Options>Privacy>Accept Third Party Cookies and set it to 'from visited'. I have to make this change every time I open firefox, it never saves the setting. Is there an about:config setting I need to change to make it permanent? Is there something else I can do?

  • How do I remove/block certain videos or channels from appearing in my "what to watch" on YouTube?

It's always bugged me that some videos that I've watched already keep showing up on this list. Plus all the videos I've no intention of watching but are vaguely connected to something I've watched in the past so they just keep popping up. I've deleted my recent history and started again but I always get stuff I have no interest in seeing. I even blocked a channel to see if that works but no, it doesn't. Even a freakin' blocked channel's videos are recommended to me.

Is there a way I can permanently remove them from my recommendations?

  • Why can't I reply to YouTube comments?

I know there are a lot of these posted but I haven't seen the same problem I'm having yet so I don't think this is a double post, apologies if it is. This isn't a problem with old comments, I know they don't work any more, but even with a comment I posted just last night. I get an e-mail saying someone replied and I click the link to the YouTube comment section containing the reply and my original comment. However, instead of the comment box appearing when I click the 'reply' button, all I get is a long rectangular box that I can't click into or type into and the 'reply' button is faded out and cannot be pressed. This happens to some comments it seems, but not all. I've also tried navigating to the comment without the link in the e-mail by searching YouTube for the videos name and locating the comment that way but I get the same box so I don't think it's a problem with the link in the e-mail. Thanks in advance for any help.

  • English people, what are your opinions on Oliver Cromwell?

I'm Irish and I'm sure we have a very different opinion but this isn't a bigoted question. I'm just interested to learn what you learned about him in school.

  • Open Office Writer Question?

Hi, I'm new to Open Office and it's been years since I've used MS Office so I'm a bit rusty. I've been using Open Office Writer and when I try to go back to something I've typed previously in a document the text I enter overwrites the text I had written. I don't want it to do this, instead I would just like to add text between two sentences I've written and not overwrite it. I used to know how to turn this off on MS but I've completely forgotten and it's probably different on Open Office anyway. Can you help me please? Thanks in advance. :-)

  • New Operating System for old PC?

Hi, I have an old PC that I use for just some Internet browsing, watching T.V. shows and movies, on-line poker and listening to music. It has an AMD Sempron Processor 3000+ 994Mhz, 480MB RAM (according to System Properties) and running Windows XP at the moment. I've never used anything other than Windows before and was interested in seeing if there's any good free alternatives that would be better on an old machine? I'd love something that will have no trouble with video files, doesn't have to be HD or anything but the right codecs like VLC Media Player. If it's similar to XP in the menus and navigation that would be great too, I'd have more familiarity with it. Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Acer laptop windows 7 live movie maker microphone question?

I have an Acer Aspire 7741z laptop and I've tried to make a video using the laptop's webcam. It records O.K. except the sound, the sound is like I'm talking through a tin pipe or something and it's hard to make out what I'm saying. I know nothing about sound editing or video editing but I'd like to try video blogging so this a big obstacle. Can anyone help please?

  • Andromeda is 2.5 million light years away, how many miles is that?

What I mean is how many zeros are in that number. I obviously don't expect anyone to type all the zeros, I'm not sure it's even possible but I didn't pay attention in school so I don't really understand math symbols such as ^
