I'm filling out this application to transfer high schools, and I came upon this part where it asked me to fill out a small line dedicated to "CC". I'll link a PDF of the application.

1) "Mark, come, Mark," I bellow to my cat as I chased him across the hall.

2) Mr. Chang comes out of his house and caught my cat before it ran into the street.

3) "Thanks for your help," I shout across the street to Mr. Chang, who shrugs as if it was nothing.

4) Once Mark and I were safely home, I gave him a bowl of water, which he drank as if he was dehydrated.

#1 definitely is wrong, and the past tense terms don t make sense in #2. I feel like the answer s #3, but is there an unnecessary comma in #4 after water . Thanks, guys!

I'm not Catholic or Christian, but my friend got annoyed by the fact that I've never experienced any of the amazing times she/he's had at church. Tomorrow, my friend decided to take me to his/her church. Really, what I'm expecting is an ordinary classroom with a Bible at every desk. Not much, but there is going to be a White Elephant there tomorrow.

What was your first church experience like? What should I expect? Thx for all the answers! :)

Say that I have to remove 2 permanent premolars 2 days before an orthodontist's appointment. Is that too short for a braces tightening? Or does it have to heal first? (I'm assuming it has to heal first.) Thanks!

ex. Attack on Titan, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, etc.

I wanted to be like a squirrel or an Attack on Titan character this Halloween, but I didn't have enough sufficient funds since it was mainly spent on braces (overjet started to cause speech problems :c). Plus, I only had like one week left so I couldn't buy anything online. I'm trying to think of what to be for Halloween next year so that I could save up for it, ya know. Thanks!

I just got my top and bottom braces today (my orthodontist likes to do it all at once). I never realized how much food got stuck in between my brackets, and I never realize it because my tongue's still getting used to a metal rainfall in my mouth.

How did you guys remove food from your teeth without taking a travel toothbrush out in front of people and just scrubbing the food away (assuming there's no bathroom)?

Plus, for some reason, my braces don't hurt that much. Maybe I have a low pain tolerance c:

And would removing wisdom teeth after braces affect your straight teeth?

Does this mean anything? Isn't is supposed to go on the top and bottom? Or does that mean I have to get an expander? My orthodontist never mentioned anything about expanders, but he did say something about headgear. I have a severe over jet. :c Thanks to all who answered!

I got spacers like an hour ago. I was like, "Oh they don't feel that bad." 40 minutes later...soreness starts to roll in. D: Have you guys experienced the same thing?

I'm going to the orthodontist literally in 80 minutes to get spacers. I know you can't eat something chewy, but can you still eat chicken nuggets? I'm craving those. XD

I'm getting spacers this coming Thursday, 4 days before I get my actual braces. Do they feel like food's stuck there? Painful (the lady said it would .-.)? Thanks!

As a car is approaching a freeway on–ramp, it is traveling at a constant speed of 35 mph. Once on the on–ramp, the car increases its speed at a constant rate of 3 mph per second. a) Write an equation relating the speed of the car and the time it has been since it started accelerating.

b) When will the car be traveling at the speed limit of 55 mph?

A 4 or 5 axis robotic arm made with Lego Mindstorms EV3 that automatically detects any objects in its surrounding area and checks the object's color. If the object's color isn't black, it will pick it up and place it in this basket.

Pros: It's cheaper to make and can be applied in laboratories or anywhere else to easily organize objects.

Cons: Robotic arm is already invented. arm. There's a manual robotic arm toy that costs only $40. (ugh)

A cheaper alternative to robotic eating aids or a prototype to a better structural system applied to buildings (more strength to walls and roof such as during an earthquake)?

It has 11 letters, and the 4th letter is an L.

I don't like how one of my teeth is crooked, and in pictures they look awful, and I have an overbite from my mom's genetics. I want braces to correct them, but my mom thinks they'll "weaken" your teeth. (I'm pretty sure that's not true since you wear retainers anyway.)

A bit unfair how my sister got them just by asking once, and I have to find other ways to convince my parents. e.e

For my area, they cost $3600. They accept monthly payments, but $200 is required on the first visit.

I can pay for the first payment of $200 with my own saved money. But I'm thinking that this could be a Christmas present, and my parents will pay for the rest (I'm not old enough for a job.) My parents are able to pay $125 monthly for Kumon (ermergerd I quit 'cause it got ridiculous on Level I), so why not braces?

I was thinking of going to a different Math center for $260/month, but then I was thinking I could handle not getting additional math classes until the summer.

But all in all, if they can afford these math lessons, why not braces? I'm a straight A student in a high math placement class, I think I deserve these braces to boost my self confidence!
