  • How much power the screen of a large tv needs?

The question is about the screen of the TV only. Not the whole TV.

I'm interested in average what percentage of the used energy is used by the screen only and what percentage is used by the rest of the electronics in the tv.

  • VBA: How do I refer to a field's value on a form when the field name is in a variable?

    I have a form with 30 fields. (Field1, Field2, Field3...Field30)

I need to check if the fields are empty or not and then do actions every time.

here is my code what doesn't work:

    For i = 1 To 30

    FieldName = "Forms!Report_Form.Field" & i & ".Value"

    If FieldName > 0 Then

    ..do the process...

    End if

    Next i

Obviously i see the problem that I'm referring to the FieldName variable's value and not the field name's within the variable. I need however to refer to the second one, I need the following process:

If the field within the variable is empty, then...

    Thanks

  • How much do you agree?

Human rights should not be rights but privileges.

I mean you shouldn't have them just because your are human but because you are the part of the society.

You have them from the day you born and you have them through your life as long as you respect other people's same rights.

From the point you violate the rules of the society you can lose some of the privileges in a similar depth.

For example at the moment immigrant offenders, rapists etc in the country can defend themselves that if they are kicked from the country they are punished even harder in their own country. Sometimes even with death penalty and this is against their human rights. Since we respect that we let them stay here, pay their bills, feed them etc for long long years.

So now in a society where no numan rights exist but society rights (what are about the same as human rights but you can lose them if you are against them), we could say "sorry mate, you knew the rules, you didn't respect them, so now you are not welcomed anymore, now GTFO"

    How much do you agree?

  • Can I get a print preview before print a form with VBA DoCmd.PrintOut?

I'm printing a form from an Access application with DoCmd.Printout. When I press the button the code linked to it prints right to the default printer, what works fine.

I need however a print preview window first to be able to change printer or change settings before printing.

I know I could just get the data put it to a separate report and get a print preview on that I just don't want to spend the time create one more report.

Ideally there should be a way to print a form as it is on the screen with the data in it through a print preview. What is this method?

  • A god who requires you to believe in him doesn't really give free will does he?

Let's say he said I give you free will you can do whatever you want.

Then he wants you to believe in him and if you don't you will burn in hell.

So I can do whatever I want as long as I believe in him. This isn't really free will. Like Ford's free choice at buying the new T-model car. Everybody can choose from any color of cars as long as it is black.. That's not free choice either is it?

So he even sends people and require people to convert the ones doesn't believe. So if he wants this why he gave free will in the first place? Didn't he think this through before he acted?

If he gave the free will why doesn't he respect it then and leave us non believers alone and tell his sons and daughters to live in peace with the non believers and accept them as they are. It is their free choice not to believe and this doesn't make them more or less than the believers...

  • Why is religion so strong still in the XXI century?

We are in 2008. We travel in space, cut atoms in half and study the edges of the universe. There is no sign of god anywhere. And still if there is a god somewhere must be in a so great distance as we didn't find him yet.

And on Earth people still belive in that so called greater good they can die for it..

Why is that so still in the age of science and technology?
