with an upward facing blower, i can float a ping pong ball in the air [to do with bernoulli's principle] but a downward facing cone will not float, i was just wondering why a ball will float in air, yet a cone will not [the cone has a small weight in it.

Firstly, i set up a blower (i.e. reversed vaccum cleaner) and place a ping pong ball in the airflow.
Bernoulli's principle and some common sense explains this but i would like some help in working out the equations for when i tilt the blower. The ping pong ball stays in the airflow until 50 degrees. Please can you help
