  • Is it cheaper to buy liquor/tobacco in Ohio or Kentucky?

I'm heading through Cincinnati down into Kentucky real quick, and was wondering if it was worth stopping to make a purchase while I run an errand down there.

  • How do I get in touch with Wes Anderson?

I'd like a good mailing address or email address where I might be able to reach Wes Anderson; the filmmaker of Rushmore, Royal Tenenbaums and the Life Aquatic. I've never tried to contact a celebrity before, and my internet searches turned up unsuccessful. I'd just like to send him my comments on his films and tell him what I think about his work.

  • How is the Bible the only way to know God?

As a Catholic I get frustrated with other Christians who try to convince me that the Bible - as opposed to Sacrements, prayer and helping others - is the only right way to know God and be a good Christian. The Sacrements and many things Catholics do today are much older than when sacred writings were put together in an official list at the Council of Nicea.

The printing press wasn't invented until the sixteenth century. With it being so impractical for everyone before the printing press to have their own Bible, it seems like the Catholic ways of Sacrements, prayer, and helping others would have been the only way for people to know God. Did God intend everyone before the invention of the printing press to be damned?

  • Providence Airport (PVD) to downtown Boston?

I need some information and advice on getting from Providence's T.F. Green Airport to downtown Boston (South Station). I see there is a commuter rail line that goes from Providence to Boston on MBTA's website, but when I check their schedules - I can't find Providence. What is the name or operator of the rail that runs between Providence and Boston, and where can I find a schedule on the internet?

Also, if anyone is aware of a better way to get to downtown Boston from the airport - please feel free to offer advice.

  • Is Chicago overrated?

I'm not too far from Chicago. I like big cities, and have traveled a lot. I've been to big cities like New York, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Lexington, Nashville, Philidelphia, D.C., Detroit, Miami, Orlando, San Antonio, Phoenix, Houston, LA, Las Vegas, San Diego, Maui, and others. I've also been all over Europe. I haven't been to Chicago since I was very young. I appreciate almost all cities and what is unique about them, but I just have this feeling like Chicago might be overrated. Are there really things you can do in Chicago that you can't do other places, or is the atmosphere really that great?

  • Where are the places that make up the real Cincinnati?

I am attending Miami University and don't have much time left. I love cities of all kinds, and haven't really been into Cincinnati that much. I'd really to know some of the major sights, cool neighborhoods or districts with restaurant recommendations, and any other things you think I should I do in Cinci before I graduate and probably leave the region. The only place I have been to regularly is in Clifton Heights on Ludlow Ave. and the UC neighborhood area. I really like those types of places, so if you can reccomend any other cool offbeat or trendy districts like that, it would be great.
