  • My STIMULOUS info...found out today......?

I've been watching & watching the Where's my stimulous webpage for about 2 weeks now. My information on that website finally showed up late Sunday evening (May 18). My last two are 23. My rebate is scheduled to be mailed by May 30. I was curious about the reference code that shows up on the bottom of that webpage when your info finally pops up and called the IRS. The code was 1612. I asked her what that meant and she said it was a code that meant it was ready to go. She first said it would be mailed by May 30 and then later said would definitely be mailed out before that. So all you early 20s, it's coming, it's coming....just not nearly fast enuff. Hope this helps some of ya'll!!!

  • 2000 Dodge Ram 1500??

I recently replaced a clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and slave cylinder. When i picked up the truck, mechanic said was stiff switching gears and should loosen up. The gear shift is still being thrown out of first, the clutch pedal pushes all the way to the floor and the truck continues to move as if in gear, and the gear shift is very very hard to put into gear. Also, the mechanic said that i would have to pump the clutch several times to prime the system (which doesn't seem to help with the gear shifting). There is no friction or hesitation at all when i press the clutch pedal to the floor (much like a mushy brake pedal) although the clutch rises back on its own. Any ideas or suggestions (other than a new mechanic, lol)?

  • 2000 Dodge Ram pickup Brake Help?

I'm getting brake fluid out of the brake line for the front, but none for the rear brakes. Could this be the rear ABS sensor or possibly the ABS control module or could it be the seals for the rear brakes in the master cylinder. When the brakes are applied, I can hear fluid pressing back up and through the master cylinder.

  • Help with Brake System for 2000 Dodge Ram 1500?

My dad owns a wrecker service and has given me a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Pick up 5.2 L V8. The truck runs great, but the brake pedal mashes all the way to the floor. The truck has been sitting up for about 3 months now. There is brake fluid (full) but the gasket under the cap was torn. I have been told there may be air in the line and should bleed the lines. Is this a waste of time considering that the reservoir was full or should I try this before replacing the master cylinder or booster? What should I look for to make sure it's not the master cylinder versus the booster? Thanks for all who help!!
