Dear Yahoo! Answers...Are there plans......?

Are there plans in the works for a daily point total on the My Q&A page? There is already a "points this week" total. Whatdya think?

Update:

ty for the info on the point levels, but that was totally irrelevant to the question. You'll see over on the right hand side of the screen that there are total earned points, and points this week. I was asking if there are plans to have a points this day.

Update 2:

Portnoys is very upset that I was invited to Yahoo! Mail Beta and he wasn't. Pay him no mind.

This is a pretty good suggestion. Many a times I imagine if no. of points per week had a resettable counter, it could be used in the same as a Distance reading in a Tachometer in a car. Giving sort of score per day along with score per week would give a better measure of your activity. In fact it acts a personal benchmark, like a target to answer at least these many number of questions.

Some might say, that no. of answers per day is a better measure, but if no of points is kept as the measure, with better quality answers in lesser quantity, you can actieve more points.

I'm sure Yahoo really really cares and will do so because they are compassionate and caring and simply wonderful people.

And I'm just sucking up to them in hopes I'll be one of the special chosen few for beta email.

I don't think users will care about the points per day as long as their getting their points. Sorry.
