I got a puppy yesterday he is 6 weeks old (I know he should be older but they were not gonna keep him that long). Yesterday he ate a little bit of the food that I bought him but not much. When we got up this morning I gave him the same food in two choice; straight dry and moistened. However, he is barely touching it and crying a lot like he is hungry because yesterday he barely cried.

What do ya'll think. BTW he is a dachshund/beagle mix.

Back when I was younger (in my teens) I had a child. I was a mess to the highest accord and could not raise a child at that time. My mom informally adopted him when he was 6 months old (I gave her guardianship).

Anyways, he will turn 13 this year. Over the years he has a few small things here and there, like why would someone put a child up for adoption, etc. but he never just straight ask. Well within the last 2 weeks he came out and asked if he was adopted and they of course told him yes, and that I am his birth mom. So far he seems to have handled it well from what my mom said. However, I have not seen him since this revelation.

I know things will be awkward next time I am over there. I do I handle the situation? I have 3 sons now, do I go ahead and tell them or wait or what?

My kitten has a slight cold and I called the vet and asked what to give him. They told me antibiotics 2 times a day for 7 days. But they did not say how much just a little. I already had the antibiotics here (250mg omnicef) I am just unsure how much to give. I gave him less than a 1/4 teaspoon. He weighs about 2lbs does that sound right?

Before someone says just take him to the vet...I cannot do that right now. My son his having eye problems and might have to have surgery again so going to the vet is out of the question for the next several days or weeks. My vet has no problems telling me over the phone what to give I just did not think to ask the exact dosage and I am about to leave to take a 2 1/2 hour trip to take my son to his specialist. Thanks.

I have had a cartilage piercing for years now.I have not had an earring in it for about 7 mths months now. I had a lot of dental work done and it was a pain taking the rings in and out for x-rays (it is a curved barbell, 16 or 18g).

Yesterday I put the curved barbell back in and had no issues getting it in. It went right in, but I had a hard time getting the ball back on it. Now its really sore. I cleaned the earring before putting it back in and I cleaned it this morning. Will it take a few days for my ears to get used to have the ring back in?

I have 4 more teeth that have to be pulled on the 9th then I am getting dentures. Is it normal for them to do impressions after the teeth are out instead of before. I don't know yet if I will have the same dentist do the dentures or not. Depends on how much the out of pocket will be after insurance depends on if I do it there or else where.

to get a Pell grant and if so does anyone have a guess on the amount. Thanks.

Alright I had my period on Aug 26 and it lasted 5 days. Stopped for 2 days, had sex with my husband and bled a little the next day. Then Sept. 5th I had a bad pain like cramp on my right side that extended to part of my back. Then on the 6th the pain was more on my left side. Today the 7th it hurts all over my lower abdomen. Also since Friday I had frequent urination. And its not just a little bit coming out either. Its a normal amount as if I had been holding it awhile. What the heck could this be?

The only things I could find on the net was either a UTI or pregnancy. Either one I guess is a possibility. I know with all of my kids I got pregnant after having sex right after having had my period. But I am not really thinking its that. Just throwing out ideas.

Does anyone have any ideas what this could be?

Alright I have this friend we're not best friends just friends that will hang out and talk when our kids play and what not. Sometimes she will come over just to talk. Well her and her husband has been on again off again for the past year. They are already divorced for quite awhile but have gotten back together a few times since the divorce to try and make it work. Well the other night they split again because he is doing drugs and refused to stop. Well she is already hooked up with someone else. From the outside looking in I think its more for money and sex not so much love. I mean I could be wrong but that have not been together more than a week.

And here is where I need the advice. She has all 3 of her boys 1. because daddy dearst is druggie and 2. Saturday night he got arrested for a bunch of things and is probably going away for a while. She is already fixing to move in with the guy in a small pull along trailer with all 3 boys. I have been trying to tell her to just stay with her sister for a bit because our landlord is about to have 2 properties about to become empty. But she seems so excited to move in with a guy she barely knows. And yesterday I pulled her aside and told her to be careful moving in with this guy to soon that she does not really know him. But all she can tell me is that well he will take care of the kids, gives me money for the kids with no questions, etc. BTW she doesn't work I have tried to help her get a job, offered to drive her to interviews, baby sit her boys etc but she has not gotten one yet.

If she was a single female I honestly would not have such an issue with her moving in with someone so fast. But to me with 3 kids she should not do this so quick. It must be confusing for her boys (7,5,and 3 are roughly the ages) for them to leave dads and mom hop in with a new guy so quickly. Already the oldest one is saying he does not want to go. She just kinda shrugs her shoulders.

So my question I guess is Am I wrong to think she is moving this way to quick? And if I am not wrong how can I approach this without breaking a friendship.

P.S. I am friends with her mom as well (me and the mom are closer friends) thinks her doing this is crazy as well.

I was wondering what is the failure rate when someone has their tubes tied young (age 23) and now its almost 5 years later?

Here is why I ask: I just got off my "cycle" and it was just odd all the way around. First it was early, then spotted for 1 day, stopped for 3, then it hit me hard, cycle normally last 7 days with cramping only at the beginning. But on day 6 cramping was so hard I could barely stand and walk, was bleeding heavily, was clotting real bad and passed one almost golf ball sized (very unusual for me). Then by day 8 or 9 it all stopped. And I can't help but wonder if it was a miscarriage or something because it was so unusual.

So what is the failure rate when done young and as the years go by.

Ok first off this is just temporary. For a long time I barely wore any of my ear piercings and in the past few months I have been wearing them more and more often. But I hate putting studs in and taking them out at the end of the day. So I decided to just get some CBRs so I don't have to take them out every day.

Anyways I could only get 1 today and I will get another one is about a week or so. So would it look odd having a ring (not a huge one) in a bottom hole and a regular ball stud in the other. I already have the ring in and for the love of man I am not taking it out and dealing with the bead again.

Oh and the ring is on the side with me cartilage piercing and the piercing below that. And I am a female.

I was wondering when others start the sex and where babies come from talk. I started about a year ago with my boys at the time age (7,5,3 years old). We had talked about how babies are made and what not when we got our male cat neutered. We thought it was a good time to have that talk because our oldest was asking questions about why our cat had the surgery. And we decided to just be honest with them and not beat around the bush. We also used all the correct terms for the body parts instead of all the cutesy names people tell their kids.

What about everyone else. What you started? At what age? Did you use correct terms? Are you waiting till they are older and get sex ed in school.

I have been told and I am trying to look this up that in GA any amount on you is a felony is this true? This is her first offense and she was as high as a kite when they pulled her. Ok so today I picked up the jewelry for my cartilage piercing. I did not get them at the shop so I was not able to get the tapers. Well turns out my cartilage is actually a 16g which worked good because thats what I bought. Anyways when I got the jewelry it came with 2 half loops. I was gonna put that one in the hole just below the cartilage piercing. But that one is not a 16g. I will not be able to go to the shop till probably next week.

So my question is there a safe way to taper the bottom hole without using a taper.

Here is the deal many years ago I had a cartilage piercing done and they used a regular earring stud when it was done. Now tho I wanna get a captive bead hoop or a banana (I think) barbell for it. So here is the question...do I need to get it pierced again to use those or is there a way to stretch the hole to accommodate the new jewelry. Thanks....
