Today I just found out it s illegal to have secondary insurance with an HSA. My husband and I are separated and there is a no-contact order but we are allowed to have my parents communicate for us about our son and they do drop offs. My husband wasn t providing us with my sons insurance card for the longest time. He refused to take him to the doctor and still won t. He won t pay any portion of his medical bills. He has an HSA but isn t using it. I got fed up with paying hundreds of dollars out of my pocket with no assistance from my husband and finally applied for hawk-I (cheap insurance for children for families who qualify in Iowa) they approved it even though we had other insurance. My son has had a lot of ear issues because my husband didn t take him to the doctor when he had a severe ear infection. As a result it has caused a lot of problems with his ears and we have been taking him back every two weeks since December for follow ups. Now I m paranoid I m going to be in big legal trouble since I wasn t aware of this law..

I need some lunch ideas for work. I m in a four week training and don t have access to a microwave. I have been making wraps for the past week and it s kind of getting boring. I d like to make something with sweet potatoes but I m really open to any ideas/recipes. I would like it to be healthy though!

I am a recently single mom looking to buy a house for my son and I. I had worked in the banking industry for almost four years (2010-end of 2013), the decided to become a stay at home mom. I'm hoping to figure out why I have weird cravings all of the sudden. I have never really had an issue with craving before other than carbs. For some reason I have had cravings for meat, vegetables and fat/junk food. It's not just like a typical, oh this sounds good for dinner, it's like constantly, all I want to eat is meat, vegetables (only certain ones) and oily/greasy/fatty food/junk food. Also, ,I used to drink a ton of diet soda during the day, now it physically makes me ill and my body craves water and I haven't been craving as much sugar or candy unless it's dark chocolate. I know cravings are a sign of nutrient deficiencies but I can't find any info. Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

They told me the start date and e-mailed a bunh of paperwork for me to fill out and return. I had my fingerprints done and they ran my background check but I haven't heard back from them. My start date is still about 2.5 weeks away. I am kind of worried because I have a deferred judgement for an assault and am currently completing probation for that. I need to put my two weeks in at my current position within a couple days because my boss will be on vacation for a while. I don't want to put my two weeks in though, then hear that I didn't get the job. I had my fingerpriniting done on Jan 14th. Do you think I am ok to put my two weeks in at my current position?

I started a new job a week ago and i m still in training. It was just a convenient store job until I could find a job in my field that I wanted. The day I started someone let me know about a job that was exactly what I was looking for, so I applied and ended up getting the job, just have to wait for my background check. How do I leave my current job? Just put in a two weeks? What do I say? I feel absolutely terrible and have onl really had one other job before which I left to become a stay at home mom so I don t really know how to leave my current job!

I live with my parents and they have always used clay cat litter for their cat and my cat. I know this isn't the best for cats and don't want to continue using it for my cat. Also the dust from the clay cat litter sends me into an asthma attack every time I change it. Even just being around the cat litter, especially if my cat has stirred it up, really bothers my chest. Does anyone have any suggestions for a safe, low dust litter for cats and asthmatic owners?

My cat has one ear that seems to get very dirty and I have to clean it weekly or more often. It's a brownish wax. Not ear mites, I know for a fact because she had them when we found her as a stray 2 years ago and it's only in one ear, not itchiness etc. Her other ear has MUCH less wax, and while I could get away with cleaning it every two weeks or less, I clean it weekly. Her other ear is also more of a yellow color like human ear wax. She's not itching her ear at all and the wax doesn't have an odor but it seems to be uncomfortable for her when I clean out her ear but she doesn't mind her other ear being cleaned out at all. I will try to get her into the vet but the vet doesn't have appointments available for almost a month due to all the holidays, etc. Any ideas what it could be or what to do about it?

What percentage of gifts are from Santa. For example if my son is getting 20 gifts are half from Santa. More than half and only a couple from mom? More presents from mom and Santa only brings a few?
